The first game of the baseball season is less than two days away. So of course every school is doing their best in preparation for the day.

Whether it's by training on the field with the whole team like A.U. is doing, or by hiding in the bushes and spying on the competition like what U.A. is doing.

"Remind me again why I'm spending my Saturday hiding in a bush." Bakugou turned and asked the blue-eyed blonde crouching next to him.

"We're spying on A.U. to find out what their game plan will be for Monday, obviously!" Monoma told the boy as he stood behind the fence and watched as the A.U. players ran around the field.

"And once we know what they're planning we can devise a plan of our own to counter them for an easy victory!" Monoma said. "But isn't spying on them just proof that you're actually scared to go against them?" Bakugou questioned as he looked back at the field and smiled slightly when he saw Deku at the pitching mound getting ready to throw a pitch.

Monoma looked over at Bakugou and glared at him. Bakugou looked away from Deku and quirked his eyebrows at Monoma when he noticed the boy's stare. "I'm not scared to play against them!" Monoma defensively told the boy.

"It's just that their assistant coach is a baseball god! He's probably telling them all his secrets so they can crush us in the game! We have to learn these secrets and use them against them. That's why we're here spying. Not because I'm nervous to fight against them and lose!" Monoma explained to the boy.

"Right...I guess that makes sense." Bakugou mumbled. "Umm, Monoma it doesn't look like they're listening to All Might." Shoda pointed out as he watched some kids roll their eyes at the adult and walk away from him.

"Oh please, I know they're a bunch of idiots but they can't be that dumb! Why would they ignore someone that could lead them to victory!?" Monoma exclaimed. "Maybe because All Might went to U.A. so they hate him." Bakugou pointed out.

"Tch, I know that! I hate that traitor now too but I would at least listen to him! He's a walking legend, I would learn as much as possible from him before he kicks the bucket." Monoma told the two boys before they went back to spying on their rivals.

Aizawa blew his whistle gaining all the kids' attention. "Alright team break time! Go and get some water and we'll start back up in ten minutes!" Aizawa yelled at the kids who cheered and quickly ran over to the dugout where their water bottles were.

"Alright let's get some water!" Shinsou said to Deku after he caught the boy's pitch. "You can go I want to practice some more!" Deku said to the teen currently getting up from the ground.

"Mmmm Incorrect!" Deku turned his head to see his other friends approaching him. Mina who had just spoken wore her hands on her hips as she frowned at the boy.

"The doctor said not to over-exert yourself too much, remember?" Mina said to Deku. "I know but U.A.-" "No buts!" Mina said interrupting the boy. "You need to rest up way more than we do." Mina told him.

"Yeah, your lungs still need to heal up from the fire." Uraraka added and Mina nodded her head in agreeance. "Exactly, so here." Rody said as he handed the boy his water bottle. "And quit worrying about U.A!" Rody said teasingly as he ruffled the teen's curly green hair making the boy chuckle lightly.

"Yeah! We're going to win and get revenge on those bastards for what they did to us during tryout week and for getting you trapped in that fire!" Mina exclaimed.
