Bakugou was lying down on the bench press as he lifted up the barbell with two 45lbs weights on either side of the bar. In his mind, he counted how many reps he was doing. As he was counting, his mind began to wonder back to what had happened to him over the weekend.
'26...27...28..."NO! I WOULD NEVER GIVE BIRTH TO A MENTALLY ILL FREAK!" Mitsuki closed her eyes and screamed at the teen. "Then... I guess I'm not your son." Katsuki said. "I guess not. " Mistuki responded as she frowned at the teen.'
Bakugou frowned as he thought about his fight with his mom. Because he got distracted he ended up losing his balance of the weight. "W-Woah, man!" Kirishima, who was spotting the teen, exclaimed and grabbed the weight. He then helped Bakugou lift it onto the bar stand. Once the weight was on the stand Bakugou sat up on the bench.
"You okay dude? You've never struggled with lifting before." Kirishima told the blonde who was currently using the end of his shirt to wipe the sweat off his face. "Yeah, I just have a lot on my mind..." Bakugou dropped his shirt and mumbled.
Both boys then turned their heads when they heard Bakugou's name get called. "Ugh, what does he want?" Kirishima said with a frown as he watched Monoma walk over to them. Monoma had a sly smirk present on his face as he held his hands behind his back and walked up to the two boys.
"Gentleman." Monoma greeted the two. "*sigh* What is it Monoma?" Bakugou questioned the teen as he grabbed the water bottle next to him. "Guess what I got." Monoma said before removing his hands behind his back to showcase a small birdcage with a pink bird shaking inside of it.
Bakugou pulled the water bottle away from his mouth and glanced down at the bird. He had a displeased look on his face when he looked back up at Monoma. Kirishima raised his eyebrow questionably at Monoma as well.
"A bird?" Bakugou questioned. "Ha, Oh my dear friends this isn't just any bird." Monoma said with a slight chuckle. Bakugou then looked back at the bird and frowned.
'Where have I seen this bird before?' Bakugou thought as he continued to stare at the terrified animal.
"She's gone! She's gone! U.A. stole her! They stole her!" Rody exclaimed as he ran down the baseball field. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked over at the frantic teen.
"They stole her! She's gone! They took her!" Rody yelled in a panic as he squeezed his eyes shut and pulled at his hair. Deku rushed over to the boy and placed his hands on the brunette's shoulders.
"Rody! Rody! Look at me!" Deku yelled and moved his hands so he was now holding the teen's face. Deku softly smiled when Rody opened his eyes and looked at him.
"Breath..." Deku gently told the boy. He then proceeded to take a deep breath in with his nose before letting it out through his mouth. Deku smiled as he watched Rody repeat what he had just done. "Good, just like that." Deku smiled and nodded his head. By the time Rody had calmed down the rest of the team had gathered around the two boys.
"Okay, now tell us what happened." Deku slightly backed away from the boy and asked him. Rody took in one more deep breath before speaking. "I-I left Pino at the bird fountain when I went to refill my water bottle at the water fountain b-but when I came back she was gone." Rody explained to the group.
"You sure she didn't just fly off somewhere?" Shinsou proposed the idea. Rody shook his head no. "S-she wouldn't do that. She always waits for me at the fountain so that when I come back to get her s-she can splash water in my face." Rody told them. "What make's you think U.A. took her?" Kendo questioned and flinched when Rody glared at her. "Who else could have fucking done it!?" Rody shouted at her.
