Bakugou's eyes fluttered open as the teen slowly woke up. Through his partially opened eyes, Bakugou saw that he was currently lying down in a hospital bed.
He looked slightly to his right and saw that someone was sitting next to him. The blonde then looked back up at the ceiling and closed his eyes.
After a few seconds, the boy's eyes snapped wide open and he quickly sat up in the bed which caused him to wince in pain and grab the side of his head. "Whoah! Take it easy Kat." Masaru said and got out of his seat to help the teen.
Masaru adjusted the pillow on the bed so it was lying against the headboard instead of the mattress. He then placed his hands on the boy's shoulders and gently pushed him back so he could sit against the headboard.
"Do you remember what happened at the park?" Masaru asked the teen who was currently taking off the oxygen mask that was on his face. "Tch, of course I remember." Katsuki answered the man.
"It's not like I could just fucking forget being trapped in a burning building and almost dying with-" Katsuki stopped what he was saying and his eyes widened when he recalled his last memory of Deku and how he was passed out on the floor of the burning building.
"Where's Deku!?" Katsuki asked his father. "Who?" Masaru quirked his eyebrow up and questioned his son, unsure who he was asking about. 'Oh, right he doesn't know about his nickname." Katsuki thought. "Midoriya. Where's Midoriya?" Katsuki asked again.
"Oh Izuku, he's doing fine! He and his mom are actually in the room next door. Your mom insisted on getting them a private room too. And speaking of your mom I think she's still on the phone with the park trying to sue them for all they got." Masaru said and chuckled lightly.
"So he's not hurt or anything, right?" Katsuki asked his dad wanting to make sure nothing bad happened to the boy. Masaru shook his head which made Katsuki sigh in relief.
"Yeah, fortunately, he didn't get burned like you did." Masaru said and pointed at the blonde's arm. Katsuki looked down at his arm seeing that it was now wrapped in white bandages.
Katsuki smiled softly at the bandages as he remembered when Deku wrapped his arm for him. "I'm glad he's okay." Katsuki mumbled quietly. "What did you say?" Masaru asked having not heard the boy. "Uh, I asked how'd we get out? I don't really remember it." Katsuki said. His father nodded his head as he sat back down in his seat.
"That makes sense, you both were passed out when you were found after all. But the firefighters told us that when some of them were putting out the fire others were walking around trying to find other ways into the maze to cover more ground and someone heard your voice crying for help." Masaru explained.
"I wasn't crying! I was cursing them out. Who takes that damn long to save people." Katsuki crossed his arms and grumbled out which made his father smile.
"Well, whatever you did I'm glad they were able to find you, both of you." Masaru said and reached out and ruffled the kid's ash blonde hair.
The two's attentions were then drawn to the door of the room when Mitsuki walked in yelling at her cellphone. "My son almost fucking died! And my best friend's kid! Why the hell would I settle! My kid's not even awake yet!" Mitsuki yelled and looked over at the hospital bed noticing that Katsuki and Masaru were both staring at her.
"Expect a call from my lawyers soon. Now if you will excuse me I have to go check on my son you know the one who almost fucking died in one of your attractions!" Mitsuki shouted at the phone before ending the call.
Mitsuki took in a deep breath to calm herself down before going over to her son. "Oh, Katsuki you're awake!" Mitsuki exclaimed dramatically as she threw her arms around the teen in a hug causing the boy's body to tense.
