Aftermath (Epilogue)

"You know you aren't going to win." Monoma said with a confident smirk as he spoke to the pink-haired girl in front of him. "Pfft, please, like hell I'll lose to you." Mina rolled her eyes and told the boy.

"You sure? You look a bit nervous." Monoma said with a small snicker. "Nervous? Me? Ha, never." Mina said while she crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at the blonde.

"You sound cocky now but just wait until I beat you. You won't be so cocky then." Monoma said with a smug smile still on his face. "Yeah well, you sound so confident for someone who always loses." Mina clapped back causing Monoma's face to fall.

"Just you watch when I beat you I'm gonna send you crying back home to your daddy." Monoma said as he glared back at the girl. The smirk that appeared on Mina's face began to waver as she thought about what to say.

"At least my dad loves me." Mina said and immediately pressed her lips together to hold in her laughter.

"Mina!" Everyone on the field yelled the girl's name causing her to flinch slightly. They all frowned and shook their heads disapprovingly at the teenager.

"Whaaat?! He set me up!" Mina yelled back in protest while pointing at Monoma. "Low blow!" Sero cupped his mouth and yelled. "Yeah, too soon babe." Kirishima called out to his girl. "Booo!" Uraraka said while she used both her hands to cup her mouth and shout.

Mina rolled her eyes and groaned in annoyance at all the boos she was receiving from the other teens. "That was pretty outta pocket Mina." Deku, who was standing next to the two, looked at the curly-haired girl and said.

"*sigh* Yeah, yeah. Sorry Monoma." Mina looked at the blonde and apologized to him. "It's fine I would have said the same thing if I were you." Monoma said with a slight shrug.

"You should have said something about her mom." Deku leaned in closer to Monoma and whispered not so quietly. "You mean how my mom loves me and hers left her as a kid?" Monoma leaned closer to Deku and replied back.

"Oh screw both of you!" Mina shouted as she jokingly punched both boys in the arm. Deku and Monoma just laughed together as they let the girl attack them.

"Come on let's play already!" Kendo playfully yelled at the three teens. "Yeah, we're getting bored!" Momo added and shared a smile with her girlfriend.

"Alright let's stop wasting time." Mina stopped beating the boys and said. She then smirked up at Monoma and placed her fist on her hand. "You ready?" She asked the blonde. Monoma simply smirked back at the girl and placed his fist on his hand as well.

"Rock, paper, scissors!" Both teens enthusiastically shouted as they stared down at the other person's hand. "Yes!" "No!" Mina and Monoma respectively cried out after Monoma's scissors lost to Mina's rock.

"Haha, he's mine!" Mina laughed as she wrapped her arm around Deku's neck, putting him in a slight choke hold. The girl's team consisting of Kirishima, Bakugou, Rody, Iida, Jirou, Toga, and Inasa all cheered when they saw that Deku will be on their team.

Monoma's team consisting of Sero, Todoroki, Uraraka, Shinsou, Shoda, Denki, Momo, and Kendo all groaned in disappointment and began to complain.

"We have to give him a handicap or something, right?" Sero said. "Yeah, they're definitely gonna win if we don't." Uraraka agreed.  "I say he plays blindfolded or he's only allowed to walk to the bases!" Shoda suggested.

"Yeah, and he has to pitch with his non-dominant hand!" Kendo added on. "Or no hands!" Denki exclaimed getting looks of confusion from the others in return. "How is he supposed to play without using his hands?" Mina raised her eyebrow and questioned the blonde.
