"I'm home." Katsuki yelled half-heartedly as he closed the front door of his house. "Katsuki! Kitchen! Now!" Mitsuki yelled causing the teen to flinch at her loud voice.
"Ugh, I just got back." Katsuki mumbled out in annoyance and began to trudge his way to the kitchen. 'I wonder what that hag wants?' Katsuki thought. A smile then appeared on the teen's face as he thought back on the kiss he and Deku had shared earlier that day.
'Well, whatever it is I'll doubt it'll ruin my mood.' Katsuki thought and walked into the kitchen where he saw his mom standing behind the kitchen island with her hands on her hips.
"Where the hell have you been?" Mitsuki narrowed her eyes at the boy and questioned him. "I was uh studying at a friend's place." Katsuki said quickly coming up with a lie.
Mitsuki squinted her eyes at the teen as she let out an unconvinced hum. "Well funny that you mentioned studying cuz this came in the mail today." Mitsuki said and pushed the piece of paper that was on the counter toward her son.
Katsuki walked up to the kitchen island and looked down at the piece of paper that was on it. He clicked his teeth when he saw his report card. Out of the seven classes he was taking his grade dropped to either a B- or C+ in four of them.
'I know I skipped a couple of assignments to focus on the music video and training for games but I didn't think it was that bad.' Katsuki thought.
"When we first got here I told you to focus on your studies, no distractions remember?" Mitsuki glared at the boy and said before continuing her scolding. "But lately I've noticed you've been sneaking off a lot and coming home late. So, I'm going to ask you this one more time and I don't want some bs answer." Mitsuki said as she closed her eyes and raised up one finger for emphasis.
Mitsuki then opened her eyes and crossed her arms. "Where the hell were you today?" She asked as she tilted her head up and looked down upon the young blonde.
Katsuki swallowed the lump in his throat as he stared up at his mother's piercing red eyes that were glaring daggers into him. 'Tch, what the fuck am I supposed to say!? I can't tell her about baseball or the music video and I definitely can't tell her about me Deku.' Katsuki thought but just then a light bulb seemed to turn on in the boy's mind.
"I'm... seeing someone..." Katsuki said. Mitsuki uncrossed her arms as a wide smile appeared on her face. "Really!?" Mitsuki clasped her hands together and asked excitedly. Katsuki bit his lip slightly and nodded his head in reply.
The woman let out a small squeal of delight as she ran around the kitchen island and hugged her son. "I'm so happy for you brat! You've gotta tell me all about her!" Mitsuki said once she pulled away from the teen.
"What's her name? What's she like? What are her hobbies? Who are her parents? What do they do for a living? Is she in your class? When did you two start dating? How many dates have you been on? How did you ask her out?" Mitsuki rapidly asked the boy multiple questions about the person he is seeing. The woman stopped speaking when she realized that she had gone off-topic.
Mitsuki slowly let go of Katsuki's shoulders before clearing her throat. "*ahem* I'm supposed to be mad at you." she said and began to narrow her eyes at the teen again. "You better start buckling down on your work again or else you won't be allowed to go out and see your girlfriend." Mitsuki threatened which just made Katsuki roll his eyes at her.
"Yeah, yeah..." Katsuki mumbled. 'I didn't think that would work so well. But at least now I won't have to come up with that many excuses anymore.' Katsuki thought to himself.
"So, is your girlfriend free tomorrow?" Mitsuki couldn't help but smile as she asked the question. "Huh, why?" Katsuki asked. "Obviously so we can meet her! I have to make sure she's the right fit for my lil CEO." Mitsuki said before reaching out and ruffling Kastsuki's spikey blonde hair.
