Truce

One of the haunted house workers was coughing as he and some others ran out of the burning building. "Obake!" The outside attendant yelled as he ran over to the man.

"Are you okay!?" He asked the man who was still coughing. "*cough, cough* Yeah, did you call the fire department already?" He asked as his friend took his arm and placed it over his shoulders.

"Yeah, they said they'll be here soon. Was everyone able to make it out okay?" The attendant asked while he slowly walked his friend over to a bench so he could rest.

"Yeah, I think we're all here." He told him making the attendant breathe a sigh of relief. "Those two kids got out too, right?" The attendant asked as he carefully lowered his friend down onto the bench. "*cough* What two kids?" The main raised his eyebrow and questioned.

"The ones I sent in the house earlier..." The man slowly said as he realized the two boys that he sent in are still somewhere inside. "You sent kids in there!?" The worker exclaimed and both men looked back at the building that had been set ablaze.

"DEKU!"

"BAKUGOU!"

Both friend groups desperately yelled out their friends' names hoping that they could hear them through the loud crackling sound of the fire.

Bakugou covered his nose and mouth with his arm as he blindly ran down the halls trying to find some sort of exit.

'How the hell did this fire even start?! And where the hell am I!?' Bakugou thought as he stopped to look around, trying to find anything familiar that would help him get out. Everything however was engulfed in flames making it impossible to make out anything.

Bakugou continued to run down the halls but stopped when he heard a faint voice.

"🎵I don't know the answers...🎵"

'What was that?' Bakugou thought and tried to focus his hearing on the voice instead of the raging fire.

"🎵Tomorrow's still unknown...🎵"

'It sounds like someone's singing? And it's coming from... over there!' Bakugou thought and carefully started to make his way down the hall trying his best not to get burned by the fire.

"🎵But I can make this promise...🎵"

Bakugou squinted his eyes in order to see past all of the smoke and continued to follow the sound of the voice.

Bakugou stopped walking when he noticed someone's shoes underneath a table. He moved over to the table and lifted up the cloth that was covering it. Bakugou then bent down and looked to see who was under the table.

"🎵You won't be alone.🎵"

"Deku!?" Bakugou exclaimed in shock upon finding out that the freckled-face teen was the one hiding beneath the table. The greenette however didn't react to the blonde's presence as his eyes were squeezed shut and his hands were tightly pressed against his ears. Because he didn't know that the boy was there he continued to sing.

"🎵I don't know where we should go...🎵"

"*cough* What the hell are you doing!? We gotta get out of here!" Bakugou frantically yelled at the boy. Deku however continued to sing his little song still unaware of Bakugou standing in front of him.
