Katsuki slowly walked down the stairs leading to the foyer of his house. His attention was focused on the multiple people running across his house carrying and yelling various things. "What the hell is going on?" Katsuki mumbled to himself as he reached the bottom of the stairs.
"Oh, Katsuki good timing!" Mitsuki said when she noticed her son standing by the stairs. The woman walked over to the teen and quirked her eyebrow in confusion when she saw the boy carrying a duffle bag.
"Where are you going?" Mitsuki asked the boy. "The uh, library to study for an upcoming test." Katsuki lied. The woman gave the teen a judgmental look as she didn't quite believe him.
"What the hell is with all these extras running around?" Katsuki asked, quickly changing the topic. "Didn't I tell you?" Mitsuki questioned getting a shrug and head shake from Katsuki in reply.
"Well, I'm hosting a dinner party for all of my major clients to not only thank them for their patronage but to also inform them about my next line." Mitsuki told the boy. "Next line? You mean the pride line?" Katsuki slowly asked and Mitsuki smiled and nodded her head in reply.
"That's the one! I want to make sure that they understand that I'm only doing this to increase sales and boost my following. I don't want them thinking that I actually support those freaks." Mitsuki said making Katsuki frown slightly and look away from the woman.
"Great, well have fun at your dumb dinner." Katsuki said sarcastically and began to walk away but stopped when his mother called out to him.
"Wait, since you're already going out I want you to stop by the bakery and pick up the desserts I order and bring them here before nine." Mitsuki told the teen.
"Huh? Why the hell do I have to do it?! Can't one of the servants handle it?" Katsuki questioned. "No brat I want you to do it since I know you're not gonna want to stay for the party so this is the least you could do for me." Mitsuki said making Katsuki suck his teeth and cross his arms in annoyance.
"Thanks kid, I'll text you the address!" Mitsuki said as she pulled out her phone from her pocket and began walking away. Katsuki let out a sigh before he left his house and headed toward the batting cages.
"Ugh, that hag always overdoes these things. Who the hell orders this many desserts for a dinner party!?" Bakugou mumbled to himself after seeing the various desserts he is supposed to pick up from the bakery.
When he made it to the store he immediately went over to the front counter where a worker was turned away from him cleaning up the back counter.
"Hey, I'm here to pick up an order." Bakugou said in a semi-annoyed tone. "What name is the order under?" The person asked as they went over to the sink to wring out the rag they were using to wipe down the back counter. "It should be under Baku...gou..." Bakugou's voice trailed off when the person turned around revealing to be Deku.
"Ha, oh hey!" Deku smiled at the blonde and said. "Hey..." Bakugou breathed out as the corner of his mouth lifted up in a slight smile.
"Woah you sure ordered a lot of desserts." Deku said when he looked up the boy's order on the computer monitor. "Are you throwing a party or do you just have a major sweet tooth?" Deku jokingly asked the teen making him laugh lightly.
"Ha, no my uh mom is actually throwing a party and she tends to overdo things." Bakugou told the boy who nodded his head in understanding.
"Well, most of your order is ready. I put the pies in the oven a while ago so they should be done in like twenty minutes. You can sit at a table and wait for them to finish if you want." Deku suggested. "Yeah sure, thanks." Bakugou said before going over to a table by the window and sitting down.
