Bakugou stared up at his bedroom ceiling as he laid in bed. The blonde barely got any sleep as he was too anxious about his date with Deku later that day.

'What if something goes wrong? What if he doesn't have a good time? What if he ends up hating me after!?' Bakugou thought.

The teen shook his head and quickly grabbed his phone from the bedside table and checked the time seeing that it was almost 9 in the morning. 'Ugh, I might as well get up now.' Bakugou thought as he sat up in the bed and ruffled his already messy hair.

The boy got out of bed and went to the bathroom where he did his usual morning routine. Once he was done in the bathroom he went downstairs and headed toward the kitchen.

Kaoruko who was in the kitchen making breakfast looked away from the stove when she heard someone walk in. "Oh, Katsuki good morning." she greeted the boy. "Mornin'." Bakugou simply greeted her back as he went to sit down at the kitchen island.

"It's Sunday, what are you doing up so early?" Kaoruko asked the boy as she turned back around and faced the stove. "Couldn't sleep." Bakugou said as he crossed his arms and rested them on the table, using them as a makeshift pillow. "Oh? Is there something on your mind?" Kaoruko asked as she flipped the omelet that was in the frying pan.

Bakugou's eyes downcasted as he thought about how much he should tell the woman. "Kaoruko..." Bakugou lifted his head up and began to say. "Yes?" Kaoruko replied. "...Hypothetically, if someone you really like and who kinda likes you back are going to hang out together later how would you...what would you do or say to get them to actually want to be with you?" Bakugou hesitantly asked the woman.

"Hmm...nothing." Kaoruko said and turned off the stove and placed the omelet on one of the plates on the counter. "Nothing!? What the hell do you mean you'd do nothing? How would you get them to date you then!?" Bakugou questioned the woman who was holding the plate with the omelet on it as she turned around to face the boy.

"Ha, when I say I would do nothing I mean that I would just be myself." Kaoruko said and placed the plate in front of the blonde. "Be myself?" Bakugou repeated causing Kaoruko to nod her head. "You said that he- er, they already like you, right? In this hypothetical situation, I mean." Kaoruko said quickly covering her slip up. Bakugou nodded his head in reply.

"Well then if they already like you then that must mean that they already enjoy being with who you are now. Meaning that they already want to be with you. You don't have to change anything about yourself or do anything special to convince them." Kaoruko explained.

Bakugou looked down at the plate in front of him and frowned as he thought of what she said. "But what if... " Bakugou lifted his head up and started to say.

"What if you were a huge dick to them when you first met, even though they did nothing wrong to you, and you guys only just started to become close, and even then you're still on thin ice with them cause you have to keep up appearances and fit in with everyone else. And what if that ends up getting in our way to be together? Would he really still want to date me then?" Bakugou desperately asked completely unaware of the fact that he misspoke.

Kaoruko softly smiled at the oblivious teen. She reached out and gently ruffled the boy's spikey blonde hair, which surprised him. "Ha, trust me when I say this Katsuki..." Kaoruko moved her hand away from the boy and began to say. "you have nothing to worry about I'm sure you two will be good together. And if you have any problems just remember that you can talk to each other. After all, a key part of a healthy relationship is good communication." Kaoruko told him. Katsuki stared down at the omelette on his plate as he reflected upon the woman's words.
