Bakugou stared up at his bedroom ceiling as he layed down in his bed. The boy was deep in thought as he contemplated on whether or not he should tell his parents about the baseball tryouts that begin on Monday, which is two days from now.

'If I don't tell them and I end up making the team then I'm gonna have to lie to them where I am all the time which isn't that hard to do but if I do it too often that hag is definitely going to notice, especially if my grades somehow manage to slip.' Bakugou thought.

'But that's the best option I can think of since I know that there's no way the hag will let me join the team if I actually tell her that I want to play and how important it is to me...' Bakugou thought as he frowned at the ceiling.

The teen then let out a small sigh before closing his eyes. "What should I do gramps?" Bakugou whispered out softly.

"You're just a kid Kat! You're supposed to be able to go out and make some friends and just have fun! You don't gotta always do what your parents say."

Bakugou opened his eyes after having remembered something his grandfather once said to him. "Do what makes me happy." Bakugou whispered to himself and smiled up at the ceiling.

"That's what you would say to me, right gramps?"

Bakugou peeked his head into the dining room and saw both of his parents working on their laptops as they sat at the dining table.

"Here goes nothing." Bakugou whispered to himself before walking into the room.

Masaru glanced away from his laptop and smiled when he noticed the teen walking into the room. "Oh, Hey Kat. Do you need something?" Masaru greeted the teen and asked.

"Yeah, do you guys have a minute?" Katsuki asked the adults. "Of course. What do you need?" Masaru asked as he pushed his laptop slightly to the side to give the teen his full attention.

"Well, you know how baseball is like this big fucking thing in town?" Katsuki began to say. "Ugh, I'm so sick of all my clients talking about it!" Mitsuki stopped working on her laptop and complained. "It's always he threw this, she hit that, did you see him run home!" Mitsuki said mockingly which made Katsuki frown.

"Someone even invited me to a game! Can you believe that!? Luckily I managed to get out of going thanks to my quick thinking." Mitsuki smiled cockily and bragged.

"Pfft, did you give them that I have to take my friend to get an exorcism excuse again? Masaru asked as a laugh escaped his mouth. "It's not an excuse if that bitch really is a filthy backstabbing demon!" Mitsuki retorted which made Masaru laugh some more.

While Mitsuki continued to rant about her ex-friend Katsuki took in a deep breath as he got ready to speak. "I want to join the baseball team!" Katsuki shouted causing both of his parents to stop what they were doing and turn to look at him.

"What?" Mitsuki questioned as she stared at the boy in shock. "I mean it only makes sense that I join the team. You know so my social standing can go up or whatever." Katsuki quickly explained to them.

"But I thought everyone at your school already liked you?" Masaru said starting to question the teen. "They like you guys." Katsuki rolled his eyes and mumbled quietly. "What about your studies?" Masaru questioned. "It won't be that hard to manage." Katsuki answered. "Do you even know how to play?" Masaru asked another question. Katsuki merely snorted softly at the man's dumb question.

"You can't play." Mitsuki simply said before going back to typing on her keyboard. "What!? Why the hell not!?" Katsuki looked over at his mom and asked her surprise that women didn't even take time to consider the idea.
