Niall's such a good friend eh? Ahhh I love him so much haha the fanfics with him are usually some of the sweetest but don't fret!!! There's no such thing as Niall and Courtney action in this book!! haha now back to the point! :)

Sweaty socks and old shoes.

The images swim through my mind as I try to pull myself to conciousness, suffocated by the now toxic air enveloping my face. My eyes pry apart and I'm greeted with the sight of Niall's armpit.

EWWWWW!!! My mind screeches as I squirm away from him. His arms instinctively lock around me though and I am forced to slowly wiggle free from the grasp. I laugh as I plop onto the floor, finding the picture of Niall smelly and shirtless in my bed absolutely hilarious.

A smile lights my lips before I fully remember last night.

The wet snow beneath my butt.

The pain within my heart.

Niall hadn't bothered to wake me up or made an effort to talk. He'd simply just carried me inside, set me in bed, and whispered comforting words until we were both snoring softly. I know he had to be curious as to what had caused me to call aso late and to be sitting half asleep on the curb but that was one of the good things about him. He didn't push.

I smile again, this time at the thought that Niall Horan was the exact opposite of me.

Except for the whole, non-stop eater of course though.

My mind perks at the mention of food and my stomach joins in with a growl. I rub it while stretching lightly before heading off to the kitchen. I grab the eggs from the fridge as I begin to brainstorm breakfast.

Cheese, ham, egg, and bacon omelets.

Bacon crioussant rolls.

Apple juice.

And don't forget the cookie dough. How could anyone ever forget about the cookie dough?!?

****

I've just set the timer on the first batch of cookies and the omelets are coming along beautifully when I hear the low creak of the mail slot opening and closing. I rush to it immediatly and find a white envelope which I knew held my car keys.

Before I know what I'm doing the doors open and I'm calling after the little blonde as she walks down my driveway, bundled in a warm zip up sweater. I always loved her clothes.

"Emily!" I call, my voice giving away my longing. She turns at the word, a warm smile lighting her feautres. "You need a ride to school?" She looks hesitent at first so I give a wide smilling, adding "There's bacon."

I'm able to get a laugh out of her at this and she's hopping up my small steps within seconds and I open the door again for her.

Emily stops abruptly after spotting the half naked boy on my bed, a mask of confusion and hurt covering her pale face. I give her a small elbow in the rib before leaning over to whisper in her ear. "Don't worry, I had a break down last night and ended up falling asleep in the snow out front-Niall was a nice friend who came to the rescue and I guess I get to repay him with a warm bed for the night I guess."

She gives an understanding nodd, before muttering something under her breath. I don't fully catch what it is except something with Harry already having me. I go stiff at the thought but loosen as she leads me  towards my kitchen. Funny how she hasn't quite forgotten the layout just yet.

"Ohhh!" I scream-mumble, running to flip the sizzling yummy egg-meat-cheese concoction. Emily laughs lightly before settling herself into a chair and grabbing a peice of bacon to munch on.
