2019, I've learned that It's best to face your problems, thoughts, or emotions instead of avoiding them, hoping they will go away, hoping to forget. The thing is, feelings demand to be felt, the good and bad: the feeling when you feel like sleeping for five years, hoping that life is different, better, when you wake up; the feeling when you have a lump in your throat, you feel so sad that you're sick to your stomach; the feeling when your heart and mind are at a constant battle against each other, over analyzing the past; the feeling when your heart feels like it's in a million pieces, and you don't know how to put it together, or where to start; the feeling when you feel uncomfortable and want to be invisible; the feeling when you step out of your comfort zone, and had a great experience, or an unexpected outcome; the feeling when you're with your favorite people, laughing, smiling, making memories, and the weight of the world falls; the feeling when you're dancing to music, and you feel like nothing can stop you; the feeling when you smile, and you forget all the harsh things about the world, and you are just genuinely happy.
    The world is best seen in color, and when you choose not to feel, the world becomes gray.
