Ian and I were walking together in the hallway at the end of the school day. I knew he liked me, but I wouldn't let him take the easy way to ask me out; he had to do it in person. We were talking about friends, and he says, "Speaking of which, would you like to be my girlfriend." I got dropped off at the school really early for the talent show cuz Gretchen and my dad went to look at a house. I was really awkward sitting there super early. I felt out of place. Juju showed up, so that was good. So Daniel had a horn solo in the talent show, and when he was done, and the clapping quieted down, I yelled, "Daniel is my best friend!!" People were laughing and were looking around to find who said it. Juju was embarrassed. It was a good time. Everyone did really good. At the end, we all got pictures together.
