Sairah couldn't believe just how long that round had lasted. I mean he's not bad in bed but he makes it take too long. She didn't care much for sex unless she was getting something out of it. The actual activity wasn't all that in her books. It could be tiring and boring too.

She stopped walking on the sidewalk for a moment and remembered 'home'. F*ck it. She kept walking to where she wanted to go.

It was about evening time now. After she had gotten dirty with that guy for hours upon hours, she had gone back upstairs to ask Leigh for directions to that girl's house. Her sister had been curled up on the couch when she found her. She's such a weirdo. But luckily, she had still been of use.

Sairah knocked on the door which supposedly belonged to the girl that Leigh 'loved'.

It opened and a little boy holding a nintendo switch stood before her. He looked her over and then turned inside. "Mum there's a stranger at the door!"

Sairah rolled her eyes. Kids were so annoying.

"Joey don't say that!" A woman's voice said from inside.

Sairah saw her approaching on brisk legs, dressed in what looked like some sort of yoga outfit.

"Hi. I'm so sorry about him- Joe go on in." The woman shooed her son away.

The boy started playing his game while walking off.

Sairah put on her 'friendly neighbour' smile. "Oh no it's totally fine. Kids will be kids I suppose."

The woman seemed grateful for her understanding. She frowned. "Wait . . . do I know you- wait you were here earlier weren't you? How's your foot? It seemed so hard for you to walk earlier but yet here you a-"

"Oh no, no, no. No I'm not the young girl you met earlier ma'am. Not at all. I'm her elder sister. My name is Sairah and I just came by to thank you for looking out for Leigh-Anne. That's her name."

The mother seemed surprised. "Oh you're the sister. She told me about you. Said you two just moved here . . ." To her the sister looked about the same age as the girl she had met earlier. She was just a bit taller and thicker.

"She said all of that? Wow she must have been real chatty when she was here eh?" Sairah said through a grin. Would it be bad if Leigh sold out too much of their business? "What else did she say?"

"Just that you two are from a neighbourhood that I don't know the name of- pardon my asking but . . . is everything alright with you two?" She whispered the last part.

Sairah was surprised by her concern. Somebody cared? "Uhh yeah. We're fine. Just trying new things I guess. Mhmm . . ."

The mother held a hand to her chest. "Why was she walking all around to the point of getting blisters though?"

Sairah remembered the long walk from their neighbourhood. They didn't walk the whole way thankfully but they had been walking for a good bit before they had gotten a ride. And what we left behind . . . She remembered a huge fire . . . dragging a body . . . "She's got sensitive skin. In fact, she's a sensitive kid in general."

"Ah okay. You know I've got a daughter about her age and though she's a bit naughty these days, she's quite sensitive herself." She sighed for very long.

Sairah tried not to smirk. "Really? At that age I think they're just vulnerable know what I mean?"

The lady laughed. "Weren't you that age just a few years back? You're practically that age now." She said smartly.

"Well I've had to grow up fast for me and my sister so I'd say I'm pretty mature." Sairah said to her. "Leigh has her moments and whenever she does I'm usually able to keep her grounded. I wouldn't say that she's naughty but she gets emotional." Leigh-Anne basically stayed out of her way but she felt like saying this would help the lady to see that she was perfectly capable of looking after her troubled daughter.
