Perrie was up at three a.m because she could be up at three a.m.
"I am soooo bored." She said to her cell phone. She was posting Instagram stories to document her boredom.
"Should I get a dog? Like . . . I need someone to stay up with me when I go full on insomniac." She ended that video and posted it.
The blonde was sitting up in bed. "Should I go live?" She asked herself.
Maybe her fans from overseas would appreciate her being up at this odd hour. She was an influencer after all. She had over a million followers. A few of them I have blocked. The people from her school were just . . . not it. Don't need that sort of toxicity in me life.
She lay on her back and was about to feel sorry for herself because of the fact that she was up alone and did not know what to do when her phone started ringing.
"Now who is calling me at three in the morni- gasp- JADE??" Perrie answered her phone in confusion. "Jade why are you u-"
"I can't sleep." Jade's soft and calm voice said from the other end.
Perrie's eyes darted around. "Uhh . . ." They may have been 'friends' because they were both close to Leigh-Anne but they weren't the type of friends to call each other in the middle of the night- more like morning. Was Jade having some kind of crisis? "Why?" She asked slowly.
Jade sighed on the other end. "I f*cked up."
Perrie blinked. "How? What do you mean? Oh shit is the mafia after you?" She knew that Jade played around with dangerous things. What if the girl was in serious trouble? "Don't worry babe, I got ya. All you have to do is leave it to me. I'll hook you up with a flight out of the country, we can change your name and face-"
"Perrie what?" Jade seemed confused.
"I will not let you die- do they want money? I can give it to them. Try me. No number is too high." Perrie would not let Jade die on her. "We may have started off as acquaintances but now we're homies alright? I'll take care of ya."
Jade sighed on the other end. "Perrie I'm not in any kind of serious trouble."
Perrie scratched her head. "Oh . . . well . . . why are you calling at three a.m saying you f*cked up?" She was very confused. "Are you ready to talk about what's been making you down?" The guys had told her that Jade had been a bit off since that day where their dance crew had gone to the opening of that warehouse. Something about a fight with Jesy and crying. Poor Jade. I may have been Jesy's bestie but I sure wasn't dumb enough to date her toxic ass. I'd be embarrassed too Jade.
"Because . . ." Jade made a noise of frustration. "Remember how I said I'd take Leigh-Anne out to see how I run me business and such?"
"Eh-heh . . ."
"Well I . . . I did that but I ended up getting a wee bit high and I had to get one of me guys to drive her. So she was saying goodbye to we and then I f*cking lost it and kissed her on the lips. Not even a peck. I made out with her for a solid five seconds before she had to pull away and rush home. I was even coming in for more like a proper predator."
Perrie gasped. "Oooo what? You kissed her? And I'm only hearing about this now?" she felt betrayed. "How has she not mentioned it to me?"
"I dunno. I guess she doesn't know how to feel about it? Maybe she's embarrassed? Uncomfortable? Scared? I mean, we know her history and I . . . the drugs and then kiss her and . . . agh. I feel awful but I don't know how to bring it up. It's just too awkward."
Jade sounded like she was in a real crisis. "Okay, okay relax, cool it down."
Jade sighed. "Sorry I just . . . I never thought I'd overstep her boundaries that way. I thought that if any one of our friends would do that, it would be you."
