"I will admit that I'm surprised that your mum allowed you to go out. Guess she trusts me a lot more than I expected." Sairah was walking with her pack of kids to the mall around mid-morning. "Let me guess, you didn't tell her you'd be seeing Jade?"

"Hey how does she know about Jade?" Perrie whispered to Jesy. She had come to Jesy's house early to see Leigh-Anne. Right now she, Jesy and Leigh-Anne walked ahead of Sairah. Sairah walked behind them with her hand in Joe's.

"I told her." Leigh-Anne said. She was standing between Jesy and Perrie. Somehow she did not like being between these two. But they insisted that she be in the middle.

"What? When did you do that?" Jesy frowned.

"After your mum left." Leigh said. "But I told her that Jade probably isn't so bad."

"Only that she kind of is." Jesy had sent Jade a message about meeting her at the food court.

"While you and Jade throw hands, me and Leigh-Anne will be shopping. What do you want to buy? Maybe we can start with an outfit to wear to the mall. Are you seriously just wearing your regular clothes? You're lucky you're cute. Otherwise you'd look homeless." Perrie shook her head then slipped her hand into Leigh's. "I'd give you money if you were on the street. Don't worry." She whispered.

Leigh-Anne just ignored her.

Perrie smiled. "For real, what do you wanna buy?"

"I don't want anything." Leigh-Anne said. "Not from you anyway."

"Oh come on. What kinda poor person are you? Someone offers to buy you whatever you want and you don't want it?" Perrie sounded a bit impatient.

"I'm just not gullible." Leigh said.

Perrie groaned. "But I'm your friend."

"You only met me yesterday." Leigh said to her.

"Yeah but people can become friends in a day."

Leigh-Anne didn't say anything.

Perrie scowled. "I'm buying you something and you're gonna take it."

Leigh pulled her hand away from Perrie's and stepped backwards to be at her sister's other side.

Sairah had been telling Joe a story about how she murdered a caterpillar when Leigh appeared next to her. "Oh hey. You good?" She asked in a dead voice.

Perrie turned around and frowned but left her. She was . . . afraid of Sairah.

"Yeah." Leigh told her.

Sairah nodded. She was sure that the mall had a pharmacy and a place to buy food. She would buy what she needed for Leigh today.

When they got to the mall Jesy made a beeline for the food court.

"Hey don't move so fast." Sairah walked after her on brisk legs. She kept marveling at the massive building as she did. "Damn this place is huge."

Joe ran at her side to keep up. "Jesy slow down!"

Leigh-Anne followed them but soon realized that Perrie ended up at her side.

"Stop for a moment." The blonde girl said.

Leigh did so. "Why? We're gonna lose them." She saw her sister, Joe and Jesy getting farther and farther away.

"Because I wanna show you something. To the clothing store!" She held Leigh's wrist and started tugging her away.

"W-w-wait! Hey no slow down!" Leigh-Anne had no energy to pull away from Perrie so she was basically being dragged away.

Jesy got to the food court and started trying to locate Jade. "Where is she??" She marched in wearing a menacing glare.
