Leigh-Anne had met Sairah making everyone breakfast that morning.

"Looked up this recipe for breakfast burritos online. Hope I did it justice. Check it." Sairah said after placing everyone's plates in front of them.

Marcy yawned into her hand once hers was before her. She was pretty exhausted as she was used to waking up around eleven on a Sunday but since Leigh-Anne and Sairah were early risers, she sort of caught it from them. Even though I'm still tired. She whined internally.

Leigh-Anne loved the smell of hers. "It looks good." Sairah had gone from being a horrible cook to being pretty good. Marcy was a great teacher. Or maybe she was bad at it because we never had the resources to cook before we moved here. Everything they had eaten back then was canned. Apart from some eggs here and there.

Sairah sat next to Leigh-Anne to start eating. "Hope you like it." She started devouring hers which was the biggest. "You two should eat more. The two of you look like a pack of twigs."

Marcy frowned. "What? Sairah, I'm bigger than you." Did this girl live in a world where she was this entity that loomed over everyone? Seems so. Sairah looked like your average teenage girl in her eyes.

"You will be if you eat up." Sairah was already half-way through.

Leigh-Anne watched her in awe. They had eaten a lot last night but she was still pretty hungry this morning. She started eating hungrily and enjoyed the burst of flavour.

Marcy was always amazed by their appetites. When you've been deprived of food for long I guess you learn to appreciate it when you've got it. "So girls, any special plans for today-"

"That reminds me. I'm gonna be out for the whole day. Going on a soul searching journey with one of Leigh's little girlfriends." Sairah informed her once her plate was clear. She gulped down her juice and set the cup aside.

Leigh-Anne remembered the conversation her sister had had with Jade. "Oh yeah you'd said that." She wondered what her sister meant by 'soul searching journey'.

Marcy was confused by it too. "Soul searching journey? Where will you two be going?"

Sairah got up and pulled down a bag of chips from one of the cupboards. "Out of town." She walked back to her seat to eat.

Marcy watched the junk food she ate. "Are you that hungry that you need to eat that after your breakfast?"

Sairah opened her arms. "I don't think I made enough for myself."

Marcy sighed then went to the fridge for something. "We've got some microwavable pizza in here . . . mmm . . ." She looked back at the girl. "Want an omelet?"

Sairah nodded eagerly.

Marcy walked up to her and took the chips. "Good. I don't think you should have this in the morning." She set it back in the pantry. "Now what's this about going out of town with Perrie and Jade for the day?"

"Just Jade." Sairah's eyes darted to Leigh-Anne to make sure she said the right name.

Leigh nodded. "Jade."

"Yeah what about all this? Why do you need to do soul searching?" Marcy was setting an egg on the counter for Sairah.

"Because a lot's been happening in my life and I need to think about it. Jade needs it too. I mean, she used to date Joe's sister. Jesy. Imagine that," Sairah laughed.

Marcy rolled her eyes. "Don't talk about her like that Sairah. You're too mean."

Sairah scratched her head. "Okay sorry." She mumbled. "Anyway, me and Jade need to clear our heads and we're doing it from nine to maybe . . . mid-afternoon? Sun down? I don't know but I'm just giving you a heads up."
