The next day, Perrie was over at Jesy's.
"Ooo seems like ya really screwed up." The blonde said on Jesy's bed.
Jesy sat in front of her with her legs crossed and her arms folded. "Don't think I know that?"
" . . . it works because he can fly as well . . ." Joe was showing Sairah his comics on the floor.
"Kid you've just got stuff to burn at this point. This is so sick." Sairah had never seen a book that she was actually interested in.
Just as planned, Leigh-Anne was staying in the guest room today so Sairah could check on her like she wanted to. Later, Dr Jung would come in to talk to Jesy but for now they were all hanging out. It was still morning.
Perrie twisted her mouth. "No, I feel bad for her."
Jesy was staring at her brother and Sairah on the floor. "Yeah me too. I guess when I started going off that I must've really gone in. How bad was it?" She cringed at Perrie.
"You don't gotta ask me. It's all over IG and tiktok." Perrie looked around uneasily. "It's just me but I think you should apologize even though she doesn't want you 'round. Like yeah boundaries but at the same time it's sick to just leave that in the air you know? And you obviously feel bad right?"
"Right."
"So apologize to at least clean up the situation a little bit." Perrie advised.
Jesy twisted her mouth. "My mum basically gave me a sanction last night about leaving 'er alone so I don't think that's a good idea. I mean I feel bad and I want to like try to make it up to her and apologize but at the same time . . . my mum is being strict about keeping far and so is Sairah. I feel like she'll beat my ass if I go near that girl." She rubbed her arms nervously.
Perrie watched how Sairah genuinely enjoyed looking at Joe's comics. "She looks pretty innocent right now though."
"Yeah but I'm pretty sure she could break my jaw if she tried." Jesy rubbed the area.
Perrie thought for a moment. "Sairah?"
"What?" Sairah sounded cold but that was kind of her usual tone.
Joe looked up as well.
"When you check on Leigh-Anne can you tell her that Jesy's sorry?" Perrie said tapping her fingers together.
Jesy's face heated. Agh that sounds soooo desperate.
Perrie was trying to look as cute and innocent as she could.
Sairah stared at them as if unimpressed.
Jesy wanted to face-palm.
Sairah turned to her.
Jesy rubbed the back of her neck. "I'm sorry for real."
Sairah huffed. "Alright."
Jesy did not expect her to comply. She smiled. "Cool."
Sairah continued reading with Joe.
Jesy thought she was going to leave now. "Isn't she sick? What if she fell asleep and barfed at the same time? She could drown on her barf and die you know." She just wanted her apology to reach Leigh-Anne as soon as possible.
Sairah's eyes widened and she hopped to her feet. "Oh shit!" She ran out.
Joe heard Jesy and Perrie laughing. "Hey why'd you do that? That's not funny. You know how paranoid she gets about Leigh-Anne." He stood. "You even know why. Her other sister died."
