Jesy was shading a skull during one of her classes the next week. It was Friday, everyone's favourite day of the week. Although to Jesy, this Friday was kind of a cause for her to roll her eyes. Today was the new kid's birthday . . . that was at least what she had heard from her guy friends. No one else was really talking about it but she still allowed that fact to make her mad. She bet everyone around Leigh-Anne was treating her like a queen more so than usual. Probably wanna make her feel special today to make up for all the poor thing's been through. She could puke.

The more she wanted to stop thinking of Leigh-Anne, the more she ended up thinking of her. The students of her school still wanted to know details on Leigh-Anne's birthday party since they liked drama and fun but Perrie had made it clear that Leigh-Anne was not having one. Jesy believed that. Leigh-Anne was too awkward and weird to be a host anyway. Too unsocialized. Yet everyone loved her didn't they?

"What are you thinking of?" Ray Ray saw her pressing hard on her pencil to shade a black skull. The teacher was at the front teaching away but as usual, no one cared.

Jesy looked crossly at him.

Ray had to laugh. She looked kind of cute when that upset.

"What'd you get her for her birthday huh? Got daddy to get her her own wing of his mansion?" Ray Ray did not need to tell Jesy that he was part of the people pampering the new girl in town on her 'special' day. She could smell it.

Ray sighed. It seemed that Leigh-Anne's reaction to that fight had made Jesy hate her more. He was glad that she had not gotten in contact with the girl because Jesy may jolly well hit her in the face or something. "No."

Jesy gasped exaggeratedly. "So you didn't get her a gift? Off with your head!" She pretended to slice her own neck for emphasis.

Ray could not with her. "I'm not gonna tell you anything about anything in terms of her birthday 'cause when it comes to her, the less you know, the better."

"Right, for her safety 'cause if she sees this monster's face she'll lose it right? All of that full head of curly hair would just fall off. Ha. How'd she look bald? Bet people won't be as all over her now would they?" She was drawing a snake now. "Or what if she got fat or out of shape? Would you still want her Ray Ray?"

"I don't want her. And stop saying stuff like that. It's like you're extra bitter today." Ray Ray was laughing though.

"Right . . ." Jesy grumbled as she kept drawing.

"You know, Perrie was wondering if Leigh-Anne would even still dissociate if she saw you. She said something about Leigh-Anne suddenly remembering what you looked like so maybe she might not lose it if you showed up in her face."

Jesy paused.

Ray Ray was now listening to the teacher.

Jesy looked at him.

Ray Ray wrote while moving his head from side to side.

Jesy turned his face to hers.

Ray Ray blushed a bit. "Uhh what is it?"

"She's gotten over her phobia of me?"

Ray Ray stammered. "She just remembers what you look like but her psychiatrist is still tryna figure out what it means." Maybe he should not have mentioned that.

This changed everything to Jesy. Hmm . . . the last time she had seen that girl in the flesh had been over the summer . . .

"You better not try to go see her or something. It's not a good idea-"
