Meanwhile at St Clement's . . .

"Of all the things to stand for . . . this is what they choose . . ." Ray Ray was watching in awe as he scrolled through Tiktoks on his cell phone.

Princeton snickered but shook his head. "I mean like, I shouldn't be laughing but with how ridiculous this is . . ."

Jesy was sitting across from them, very displeased. "Why are you watching the stupid Tiktok rants of the stupid people in this school who can't get over Perrie or her weird possessiveness over that chick?"

Hoseok huffed. "The real question is why after I announced the dance battle of the century, instead of fawning over me, everybody here is angry about Perrie refusing to offer herself and three other girls up to the enemy. And why are they particularly obsessed with new girl?" He had clearly missed a lot. Last he had been in school everyone was obsessing over Briana's lip fillers. Where even is she? He stopped wondering because he did not care. All he knew was that he was not being treated the way he deserved to be. "They should be ranting over whether I would be the winner of that battle or not. Not that there's much to rant about there. It's obvious." He laughed obnoxiously.

"No but it's like . . . these folks think they out here saying something. Look." Prince showed them one he found particularly funny.

A boy from one of their classes was on the screen. He seemed to be in the bathroom for this one.

"Can we talk about how Perrie Edwards wants to act as if she's better than all of us and can completely distance herself from us over a girl when she really ain't shit at the end of the day? She's hot stuff, she's great but how is she a better person when she's gatekeeping a human being?? Like," he chuckled in aggravation then licked his lips. "This girl isn't even allowed to have an Instagram because of Perrie! Perrie is practically a slave master up in here! Keeping this girl to herself like she's her property. What is this? One of those make believe slave movies from out of Hollywood??"

Prince was hitting the table. "Y'all this nigga don't believe in slavery! He think it was make believe! Oh my God!"

"Is that really the narrative being pushed now? That Perrie has Leigh-Anne enslaved?" Jungkook seemed stunned.

Jesy had heard it all. She had wanted to stay cross all day but this was too funny to not laugh. "He said 'make believe'-" she started snickering with Princeton.

"Yo they are doing whatever they can to antagonize Perrie and even Jade. Saying Jade's the racist one. Look," Prince got another video.

Ray sighed before this one started.

"Hi guys so I didn't want to make a video about this but since everyone is literally on about- d'you like my lip gloss?" she puckered up. It seemed she was in a classroom.

Hoseok was actually chuckling.

Jesy couldn't hold her laughter. "Does she ever get to the point?" As they spoke people were debating the latest gossip and making think pieces. They really thought that this was an actual issue didn't they? Just shows how out of touch these f*cks are. Idiots.

" . . . anyway so something everyone is mostly angry about is the fact that our Egyptian queen Jade Thirlwall has somehow found it okay to refer to everyone in this school as racist even though we have done nothing but give kind compliments to her about her being of the coloured group of people. She called us all racist but to me what Jade is refusing to see is how by her saying that we're being racist that she's actually being racist herself because imagine you're like- okay imagine you're black or whatever Jade is and you're living your life and then a person like me-" she whispered the word 'white', "smiled at you and said something nice, you being a black or Egyptian or whatever would be able to just say that they're racist and no one would question you so in a way . . . we're oppressed and being referred to as 'racist' should be as bad as someone saying the n-word because it's equally as bad-"
