"Blair, what the hell did you do again?!" I heard Dad's roaring and maddening voice as they went inside of the room.
Kasunod niya si Mommy na tila pinapakalma siya at si Blaiz na ang mga mata ay agad na inilibot sa apat na sulok ng kwarto at hinanap ako.
His eyes soften as he found me sitting at one of the chairs here in detention room. Walang emosyon ko lang siyang tinitigan saka umiwas ng tingin.
I'm nervous of what will and could happen to Selene and I once this is over. I think I overdid it, I shouldn't have wreck that guy's face. Or at least, not in front of Selene!
Paano kung hindi niya na ako lapitan dahil sa takot? Paano kung tingin niya ay sasaktan ko rin siya katulad nang ginawa ko sa lalaking 'yon? What if she avoids me again? Hindi pa nga kami nagsisimula, paano kung matapos agad?
I bit my lip and shut my eyes tightly. No, no, no. I would not let that happen. That would never happen!
But if she's the one who'll end it... I wouldn't have a choice, wouldn't I? I'll try to fight for it but in the end, I'll just step back and let her get away from me. Because that's how it should be and I should respect it.
"Blair, answer me!" Galit na sigaw ulit sa akin ni Daddy.
"Bernard, calm down first, okay?" Pagpapakalma naman sa kanya ni Mommy.
Blaiz step forward and face Dad. "Calm down first, Dad. Blair is still shock, let her calm down too."
Dad chuckled sarcastically. "Shock? Blair is still shock after doing that?! Ilang beses niya nang nagawa 'yon!"
Hindi ako nagsalita dahil totoo naman. Hindi na ako nagulat na nasuntok ko ang lalaking 'yon, nagulat lang ako dahil sa harap ko ito ni Selene ginawa.
"Blair, are you okay? Does it hurt somewhere? Tell me." Lumapit naman si Mommy at marahan akong tinanong. She even touch my cheek and looked at me with soft eyes like I didn't do anything wrong.
"I'm fine, Mom." Sagot ko na lang at yumuko.
"Sabi mo ay magtitino ka na, Blair! Hinayaan ka na namin sa lahat ng ginawa mo in the past! At hinahayaan ka na namin kung gusto mong uminom at mag-party araw-araw pero we told you that please do not pull this kind of stunt again! You know that this could automatically expell you!" Dad's words are sharp and hard like stones.
"I know, I'm sorry." Mahina kong saad at huminga nang malalim.
The last time I got into a school fight was two years ago in Ventell and that's also the reason why I got expelled. Lima kaming magkakaibigan ang kasama roon. Noong pumunta kami rito sa Oxzen ay hindi na ulit nangyari 'yon. Whenever we will got into a fight, we will always make sure that it's out of the school area.
"Paano kung magsampa pa ng kaso ang pamilya nila, Blair?! You are not thinking in your right mind!" Once again, Dad exclaimed.
Blaiz and Mommy's went to me when they heard that. I just pursed my lips and sighed. The first one is scared while the latter seems like she's close to crying.
Damn it. Ano ba kasing iniisip ko kanina at padalos-dalos ako masyado?! Nagpadala ako sa galit ko at hindi na nag-isip! I couldn't get into this kind of thing again especially now that I have Selene and that I want to fix my grades!
Kami lang na pamilya ang nandito ngayon sa detention room dahil lumabas ang mga nagbabantay sa akin. Marahil ay tatawagin ang Dean o baka kami ang pupunta ngayon sa Dean's office.
May sasabihin pa sana si Dad nang may kumatok na sa pinto at pumasok si Ate Dashiell. Hindi ko mabasa kung maganda ba ang sasabihin niya o hindi dahil kalmado lang ang ekspresyon niya.
