I woke up the next day without Selene beside me. Agad akong napabalikwas at nagpalinga-linga.
I'm clearly still in Deion's guest room. Umuwi ba si Selene kagabi? But I remember us sleeping after minutes of making out.
Naghilamos muna ako. Pagkatapos kong punasan ng towel ang aking mukha ay humawak ako sa sink para tingnan ang hitsura sa salamin.
Ayos lang naman, hindi naman ako mukhang lasing na lasing kagabi o mukhang puyat. Hindi rin naman namamaga ang mga mata ko dahil sa kakaiyak kagabi.
Pero nanlaki ang mga mata ko at agad na napalayo nang mapababa ang tingin sa aking damit. Were these my clothes last night? Certainly not!
Nakapantulog na ako at hindi yung suot kong Gucci shirt at pantalon kagabi. Did Selene change my clothes last night? Masyado ba akong lasing at mahimbing na natutulog para hindi 'yon maramdaman man lang?
Well, binihisan niya nga rin pala ako dati ng mga damit kahit wasted na wasted ako at hindi ko talaga naramdaman 'yon o nagising man lang.
Lumabas ako ng banyo at halos mapatalon nang makita si Selene na nakaupo sa kama at nakatingin sa akin.
She smiled. "Hi, Blair. Good morning."
Her eyes is fixated on me, na tila inaasahan niya na talaga ang paglabas ko sa shower room at inaabangan niya talaga 'yon.
Kahit bahagyang gulantang pa rin ay ngumiti ako at naglakad palapit sa kanya.
"Morning." I greeted her while smiling. When I was finally able to reach her, I immediately grabbed her hand and took it to my left cheek.
Dinama ko ang init ng palad niya at agad na marahang napapikit. Her palm is so warm. It makes me feel safe and content.
I heard her chuckle. My heart throbbed when she started to gently rub her thumb on my cheek in a back-and-forth pace.
This has already been our comforting and sweet move toward each other. Hindi na nawala even through the years of being apart and being not okay.
"Only morning? Where's the good, hmm?" She sweetly asked. I open my eyes slightly to meet her enticing hazel eyes. Tila hindi ako nakuntento sa pwesto namin kaya lumuhod pa ako sa sahig at ipinatong ang ulo sa kanyang hita habang hinihimas niya pa rin ang aking pisngi.
"Good morning." Bawi ko naman. Muli siyang napahalakhak. I felt her other hand reach for my hair and rake her finger through it.
I gasped low. I was just feeling her touches and caresses, but it was enough to make me feel like I was in heaven. I couldn't help but be still in this moment. I suddenly want time to stop and just let us be like this forever.
I miss this. I miss her. I miss us. God... I really miss everything that includes her.
Lalo ko pang siniksik ang ulo sa kanyang mga hita, na parang isang bata na naghahanap ng kalinga. Suminghap ulit ako at this time ay tinanggal na ang mga kamay niya sa akin. Then I wrapped my arms around her waist and buried my face in her stomach.
"You miss me?" She gently asked.
I couldn't answer, I couldn't even utter a word, I was too busy feeling the warmth of her body, which gives me extreme happiness right now. The only thing that I could do to let her know that she was right was to tighten my grip on her.
She chuckled gruffly. I felt her upper body move, and then I felt her chin rest on my head. The way she rests her chin on my head is hard, but not to the point that it would hurt me. Just enough to make me feel like she misses me so much too.
