Since Theo said I owned a ice hockey ring, River said that she wanted to go so that's what we're doing right now, Alea included.
We made it to the ring so I parked my car and got out. I walked over to the entrance doors with everyone following behind.
I highly doubt that either of them know how to fucking skate so this will be fun to watch.
After getting our skates from the rack, we walked over to the bench and put them on.
I did warn them that it'll be cold in here but of course River didn't listen so now she's shaking already.
"It's cold." She complained, rubbing her hands together.
"Your own fault for not bringing a coat." I replied.
The only thing she's wearing is a pair of denim jeans with a baggy graphic t-shirt and a yankees cap on her head.
"Give me yours." She said, gesturing towards my coat.
"Fuck no."
"You have 6 layers on Ace."
"Two actually."
"Huge difference." She scoffed, rolling her eyes.
Groaning, I took my coat off knowing she won't shut the fuck up. A smile appeared on her face when I extended it out to her.
"You two bicker my ear off." Alea mumbled, standing up and walking over to the ring entrance.
Theo chuckled and followed after her as me and River rolled our eyes at them.
We may bicker a lot but I don't give a fuck.
"You know how to skate, right?" I asked River, arching my eyebrow.
"Not really no." She shrugged her shoulders and got up from her seat, wobbling a bit. Great.
My coat looked big on her because it nearly covered her hands, creating sweater paws. Cute.
Sighing, I walked into the ring before her and held out both of my hands to her. Her eyebrows raised slightly as she stared at my hands before she hesitantly took them in hers.
Theo and Alea were already playing a game of hockey since they know what they're doing. Because they are distracted, I wrapped one arm around Rivers waist and gently pulled her closer to me.
"You drop me and I'll drop you." She gritted out, glaring at me.
"I won't drop you, Riv." I said, tightening my grip around her as she looked up at me. Maybe I should drop her. Just for fun.
I started moving backwards and she immediately wrapped her hands around my neck to stabilise herself.
"What are you doing idiot?" I chuckled seeing her legs spread very far apart from each other and her whole upper body leant against mine.
