Bright rays of sunshine shone onto my face, awakening me from my deep sleep. Groggily, I opened my eyes and felt my body ache from last night. I stretched my aching muscles, groaning whilst doing so. This hurts like a motherfucker.

Speaking of motherfucker, where the hell is Ace?

He seriously just left me her-

"River." Ace said shaking my shoulder to get my attention. Well, now he's here. Wearing a neatly ironed navy blue suit with earrings in his ears and rings wrapped around his slender fingers. The first few buttons of his shirt were undone, revealing the silver chain he wore that glistened under the bedroom lighting.

"No." I grumbled, pulling the covers over my head.

"We have shit to do. Get up." He sighed, pulling the covers off my head.

I glared at him and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. I point to a random shirt on the floor so he picks it up and gives it to me. I put the shirt on and stand up from the bed, wobbling a bit because of someone.

I take slow steps towards the bathroom, hearing Ace chuckle from behind me so I stuck my middle finger up at him. Dumbass.

Once I'm in the bathroom, I brush my teeth and take a quick shower before wrapping a towel around my body.

I walk back out the bathroom, drying my hair with another towel, to see Ace looking around his dresser for something.

"What are you looking for?" I said, throwing the towel into the hamper.

"My cologne." He mumbles, moving things around his dresser until he eventually gives up and sighs.

I bite my bottom lip to stifle my laughter at his obliviousness. He's so stupid.

I hummed in response and walked out of the room, going over to mine room to change into a pair of clean clothes.

I decided to wear a baggy graphic t-shirt with mom jeans and pair of air jordan 1s. To finish my outfit, I put a chain on along with a few rings.

A grin appeared on my face when I noticed Aces cologne sitting on my dresser. I pick it up and spray some on me before meeting Ace outside my room.

He was on his phone, leaning against the wall and when he heard me he looked up from his phone. His eyes trailed along my attire, leaving a heat trail wherever they looked. He leans off the wall and moves over to me.

He grabs the waistband of my jeans and pulls me closer to him, smirking down at me.

"You smell like me." He mumbled, furrowing his eyebrows as he leaned down to my eye level a bit. "Is that my cologne?"

"Maybe." I drawled out and smirked up at him.

"You could've stolen anything else yet you decide to take my cologne." He said, raising an eyebrow.
