Matthias then proceeded to teach them kidney punches, which apparently hurt a lot as he demonstrated them onto himself.

He told them about the jaw being a knockout button, and hitting the back of the head. He taught them counter kicks and about where to hit a person

"We don't have time, so quality moves instead of quantity moves" he smirked as the girls cringed internally.

"Did i tell you i have an ick for pointed items, especially knives." Vivi said as she looked at the knives and daggers displayed to her uneasily.

"Knives" murmured Lynn. Knives.

"Well, hate to break it to you." Inej said patting her on the back, "You will have to get used to it."

"Uh so that's it for today?" Lynn asked Inej, who laughed then slowly stopped when she saw the look on the two's faces.

"I am gonna teach you the stance, c'mon." Inej said as got into her stance, and explained,"Always keep your sword or dagger in the 'ready' position, held in front of you with both hands." Inej said as she demonstrated with her own dagger, "And also perpendicular to the ground. With this method you can move the sword side to side and up and down, easily, blocking and landing blows in all directions by moving your arms."

Vivi and Lynn, looked at Inej closely ,trying their best to grasp the information she was giving.

Inej continued, "Hold the tip of the sword at a bit of an angle with the tip pointed slightly toward your opponent. Now, picture a doorway, you should be able to move your sword in any direction and quickly hit any edge of the doorframe."

"Try doing it, at least try getting the stance correctly." Inej said as she loosened up and handed them to daggers.

"Hey!" A voice shouted from a far, as two figures came closer. It was Daphne looking snazzy as usual, with him was Zephyr being their mysterious self, looking lost and humming a tune with hands in their pant pocket.

"You seem to be around here quite a lot." Inej asked as they got nearer, "Daphne is it?"

"Yea, sorry i was bit of a dick the last time we talked." He said sheepishly to Inej who nodded as an expression showing he was forgiven.

"Hi Zephyr." Lynn said smiling widely, slightly nudging Vivi who acted like she didn't know Lynn at all.

"Hi, Lynn." Zeph said and then nodded towards the other girl who was trying not to look at Zeph, "Vivi."

"Yea?" Vivi said a little too loudly, and then fumbled and dropped the dagger on the ground. She cursed while lynn burst out into fits of giggles.

"Can we move on with the stance thing, Inej." Vivi told inej, than glared at Lynn. Inej looked at zephyr who didn't seem to notice a thing and then glanced back at vivi.

Lynn hesitated for a bit, caught up in a memory.

It won't happen again, she thought. She hoped it wouldn't. Bracing herself she took a hold of one of the daggers embellished in rhinestones.

Daphne, sat on the bare soft grass near them, taking off his brown sweater and now laying on the grass with his white shirt on watching the two girls. While Zephyr, simply stood there next to Inej.

"Okay, show me your stance." Inej said, and she grimaced a little as the girls wobbled in their stance.

"No straighten your-uh here" Zeph said as he came to Vivi and touched her thighs gesturing her to straighten it and she did, bright pink patches forming on her pale cheeks. Lynn looked at them smirking.

"You seem like you know about fighting." Inej told Zephyr, who nodded.

"Dad used to teach me."

"You look so weird." Daphne said to lynn, and lynn kicked him on his feet.
