"So good. I want more." Lynn moaned, as she ate the chocolate waffle.
"That sounded-" Vivi coughed, and Lynn went bright red and smacked her friend on the hand.
"Saints, Vivi." Nina said, as she herself started laughing and clinged onto matthias for support, who widened his eyes for a second then gave vivi a strict look.
Nina had taken the two girls, all around the town for the last two days to her favourite places to eat and today was time for the infamous waffles, that Nina kept talking about. Matthias had tagged along though Nina had insisted Inej to come for a "girl's breakfast date" but Inej had to stay as Kaz had some work for her. Nina had huffed and said, "You want inej around you all the time, Brekker." Nina had grown quite fond of the two, even though were odd sometimes and they still hadn't figured out if they were telling the truth. In fact, all the crows had seemed to have a soft spot for them in such a short time, Jesper acted overprotective with the two and pulled out pranks with Vivi while lynn gave them the ideas. Wylan and Lynn, used to stay at the lab and just talk and share a laugh, while he used to teach vivi the flute sometimes. Inej though a little distant, had showed them all their daggers and also said their names to them, she didn't do the same to the other dregs. Vivi ranted to Matthias a lot, about everything and anything, though he acted to be annoyed. Nina could tell he was giving her genuine advices and liked listening to her. Matthias and Lynn, on the other hand had bonded in a peculiar way of both nagging about Vivi's annoying traits. Yes, Kaz was cold to them but again that was just Kaz being his usual self.

Vivi was picking at her food as though something was wrong.
"You okay?" Matthias asked her, and she smiled back and started taking small pieces of the food.
Vivi was in fact okay, she just always had trouble in eating. Eating seemed like a challenge to her, she never felt hungry or thirsty in fact. And once had gone a week without eating anything but a few energy bars. Lynn knew this, of course she always sat with vivi in their room in school and made her eat and drink plenty.
"It's okay, take you time." Lynn said softly, and Vivi smiled at her gratefully.
Nina on the hand, was busy sipping on her strawberry milkshake happily as she had a stack of waffles on her own plate.
"I can eat that, if you don't want to." Nina offered, and Vivi stuck her tongue out and started eating the waffle and slurping it down with her drink.
