The sudden rain was hitting them hard like pebbles through their rain cloaks, as they pushed their small boats into the ocean. Jesper tying them to the edge of their ship to make sure the huge storm waves don't make them hurtle away.
"Are we really going to row those tiny weak boats in this rough storm?" Wylan asked uneasily, glancing at Kaz.
"Yes." Kaz said from beside him, "Unless you want to drown in the ship."
A loud thunder struck just a few miles from them, Lynn flinched with her entire body as she ducked to the person next to her.
"Thankyou, now I am drenched just like you." Daphne said from her side, and Lynn immediately let go of his arm and looked away from him. Daphne rolled his eyes, as he cleaned his glasses on the hem of his shirt.
"C'mon. Get in." Jesper shouted through the loud sound of rain, "The ropes can't hold these boats for forever."
"I don't have a good feeling about this." Vivienne murmured as she held onto her cloak tighter and watched the dark raging water of the ocean.
"Atleast, we have a boat this time." Nina said from behind her as she huffed and got into one of the boats along with Matthias. Kaz and Inej joined them onto the boat. Kaz motioned Lynn and Daphne to get into the other one, and so they hesitantly did. Wylan and Jesper getting into the smallest one. Vivienne and Cain were the last boat, as Zephyr hopped in.
"Well." Kaz said loudly, as he cut the rope tying his boat to the ship in one swift blow "See you on the other side."
"No mourners" They could hear Jesper's faint shout in the stormy weather.
"No funerals." The rest yelled back, although their voives were equally as muffled.
"Jesus fuck, this is a terrible idea." Vivienne said once again, as she pushed away her wet hair from her face, watching Zephyr cut the rope.
"Relax." Cain said, as he put a hand on her anxiously shaking knee.
"How on earth am I to relax?!" Vivi shot back, as she wrapped her arms around herself, a huge wave came for their boat. Vivienne on an instinct put her hands on her head and crouched, waiting for it but nothing happened. She peeked to see Zephyr holding his hands out on the direction, pushing the water away with a gust of strong wind making the wave die down and splatter.
"Are these even useful?" Cain shouted, in the storm as he tried rowing the boat using the wooden shafts.
"In a storm like this, reckon not." Zephyr replied, as he tried rowing the boat in the raving water.
"Yea, no shit." Vivienne said as she watched the two try to row in a direction but fail, "Good thing we are close by the land, otherwise we all would be the lost."
She narrowed her eyes, as she spotted the other boats a few meters away from their own in the storm.
Vivienne clutched the sides of the boat aggressively when a wave hit them and nearly toppled their boat. She was soaked and shaking.
"Gheezens are you okay" Cain put an arm around her, patting her back "Its alright darling, I will not kill Zionite after this"
"Hey!"
"Why don't you focus on blowing thay wind away than listening to our conversation?" Cain scowled, then turned to Vivi and smiled, continuing to speak.
"You both are going to be the cause of my death" Vivienne sighed, shaking her head.

"So like, we're basically stranded from them?!" Lynn yelled at Daphne, looking around, as there was nothing but thunder and waves
"It seems like we're closer to Fjerda though" Daphne said, crinkling his eyes
"My glasses are so foggy"
"I hope they break"
"You are so, so evil"
Another huge wave crashed through, this time with so much force that their small flimsy boat flipped over, making them both splash on to water.
Lynn kicked her legs hard, paddling upwards and moving her arms as she treaded till she was afloat, tilting her head back in relief. Sudden hands grabbed her shoulder, and she jerked around to look at a breathless Daphne
"I can't swim" he gasped, panting heavily
"I can. Pull the edge of the boat, we need to flip it back." She said.
Lynn swam towards the boat, with Daphne still holding onto her tight and smiling sheepishly "Because of you, two will die instead of one" she frowned.
They both pulled the boat with all their might, no result whatsoever "I can't stay afloat this way" Daphne wailed
Lynn paused for a moment. "This boat is heavier than it should be, Cain literally lifted one of these minutes ago."
"Cain is a literal gang m-" He was interuppted by a humongous creature that sprang out of the ocean, its thick slimy body billowing over them.
One could almost say that it was taller than the clouds. With it's rough scaly skin and gnawy thorns sticking above what looked like a head, the monstrous creature produced a shrilling noise sending chills down their spines.
Daphne gulped "Kraken" "What do we do?" Lynn yelled at Daphne, still behind her "Shh, It hasn't seen us yet" he spoke in her ear. "What about Vivi and all?" she hissed "Zephyr will handle it." "No he won't be a-"
The Kraken turned around, it's piercing eyes scanning the ocean and beyond. They both ducked underwater, their hearts thudding.
Daphne quietly pushed the bottom of the both away from the Kraken as it went away, rumbling. Lynn breathed loudly as she finally got some air
"What if that sees Vivi?"
"They have Zephyr and Kaz, you really think a Kraken can stand against those two?" he shrugged
"If there is one there will most likely be many. And that thing is huge." Lynn muttered
The gushing against the waves grew fainter as the Kranken moved towards the other direction
"Well, atleast we're safe now"
They both were about to move forward when they felt a thick, slimy tail wrap around them tight.
