Vivienne was beaming at Lynn, as she smiled happily in the storm forgetting about everything in the moment. Her smile fading when she found the three sending her questioning looks, while Daphne coughed and gasped somewhere behind them.

"I thought you were, well normal." Zephyr said, looking at her as though it was the first time he was seeing her, "What was that?"

Vivienne looked at her hands and gave them a shrug. Daphne was the only other one who seemed excited.

"Whatever it was, It was bloody brilliant." He shouted. Cain reached out to Vivienne only to be blocked by Lynn who abruptly pulled Vivi to her from her side, "Oh c'mon, why do you keep stealing here from me."

"Stealing?" Lynn gasped hitimg Cain on the back off his head, "She was always mine, What do you mean stealing?! You are such a dick, don't seem to have tge slightest of an idea why Kaz agreed to let us come with you."

"Oh yea ? Well look who is speaking you little gremlin, need i remind you that I am a well trained spy and a fighter!" Cain shot back aggressively, sticking his tongue out at her.

"Need I remind you that she can burn you alive?"

"I love you lot so much." Vivienne said suddenly, she had her lower lip tilted as she wiped her red puffy eyes.

"You cry a lot." Zephyr said shaking his head smiling a little, as he stared at Vivi who was smiling and not leaving Lynn's side.

"Hate to break it to you guys." A feeble voice of Daphne said, who was sitting upright now and coughing out water, "But there is still a kraken and a storm."

"It only goes away temporarily. Vivienne technically didn't use her, fire thing to harm it." Cain jostled, squeezing in between Lynn and Vivienne and ruffling her air.

Zephyr pushed Cain away with the wind, as he grumbled and walked towards Daphne.

"You good?" he asked

"I feel pukish"

"Don't!" they all yelled in unison as Daphne scampered towards the edge of the boat, his stomach rumbling as the three looked at him in disgust.

"We better get going then." Zephyr shrugged "Who knows next time Cain turns out to be a tidemaker." With a whisk of a hand they were now moving sturdily across.

A loud shrill screeching from the monster that they had all forgotten about in a while made the earlier fear seep into them again. Lynn bit her inner cheek flinching at the sound, wincing remembering the way the wet reptile body that was just around her.

"Zephyr, fast. Blow the boat away." Daphne choked out as Zephyr nodded and started pushing the boat with his grisha ability.

"We can't outrun it." Cain shouted as another thunderbolt struck near them, "It is almost about the quater of the ocean."

"Well, Vivi?" Daphne said looking at Vivienne who stared back at him.

"What?"

"Do the fire thing again, of course. " Daphne said making weird hand movements and sounds pretending to imitate her, "Come on that way we can send it away."

"I don't know how to." Vivienne said, then looked at Daphne, "Did i seriously look like that stupid when doing it? I thought I looked badass."

"You did." Cain said abruptly, as Vivienne flashed him a smile though he probably wouldn't have made that out due to the heavy rain.

"Well, i mean we are making some progress." Lynn said as she eyes the giant reptile body which was now a few miles away from them. Zephyr cheeks were flushed and no one could tell whether it was the rainwater or sweat on his face as he gave one final harsh blow, the boat moving away from the now far away from the sea serpent kraken.

"Are you done with your. . .thing?" Vivi grimaced at Daphne who had a sour look on his face, nodding.

"I have motion sickness too." Vivienne said, watching Daphne wash his mouth, brows crinkling "Try eating bland, or plain foods every now and then will you, Inej has some ginger ale too, that'll help."

Daphne smiled weakly at her, closing his eyes and laying down in exhaustion.

"What about the crows?" Lynn asked

Zephyr nodded "They were way ahead of us, looks like they're already in Fjerda by now. Kaz told me to meet him at a bar."

"Damn, my powers or whatever are literally the coolest" Vivienne grinned, looking at her hands in awe "Such an ego boost"

She tried holding her breath in and attempting another blow from her hands, resulting in nothing but the mere stares of the three at her. Let down, she huffed beside Lynn, resting her head on her shoulder, still looking at her palms which were burning just about a little ago.

Vivienne black grew up in a small town, a town where familiarity was as fluent as a mother tongue. Like every other youngster, she wanted to move out somewhere, taste the sweet victory of freedom and exploration.

Vivienne black did not know she was a grisha. She looked at Lynn who she had known almost her whole life, if she did not even know herself, how well could she really know someone else?, she thought. The loud slurps of ginger ale from underboard Daphne and Zephyr quietened her thoughts.

Lynn eyed Cain "Don't tell me you're a grisha too"

"I can tell without a doubt you sure are a gremlin."

Vivienne started squirming around after awhile, the nauseous feeling taking over her again.

She had gotten used to her motion sickness but every now and then it felt icky.

"Take some ginger ale from Daph and Zeph before they empty the bottle" Lynn said, patting Vivienne's back.

"There isn't much to wait about anymore" Cain announced, standing up "We're here."

After about an hour of sailing with the aid of Zephyr, they had reached the icy borders of Fjerda, the place suddenly colder than it was according to their thoughts. The empty barren land was full of nothing but snow.

The place looked like a blank canvas, waiting eagerly to be painted on. With the crunch of snow with each step, there was a strange joy in the cold of what it means to be felt deeply as such. A puff of smoke with each breath was let out, Lynn and Vivienne walked, and they simply walked, following the others without questioning the directions the road was leading to. They knew they would be safe.
