Feeling all hot due to the afternoon heat and the interaction with Bucciarati– Bruno. you exited the cabin, leaving Bruno inside the bedroom.

"Hey, Y/n! Aren't you hungry–" Narancia got cut off by Fugo's question."Are you alright?"

"Y-yeah." You stuttered quietly but composed yourself immediately.

Narancia handed you an extra snack and you gladly took it and thanked him. You turned to the opposite direction from where they were sitting. You excused yourself heading somewhere else, still feeling slightly flustered and red.

You saw Abbacchio, he didn't noticed you walk towards him, he was sitting on a chair that you can see in resorts, apparently the boats has that.

He only noticed you when you sat down next to his chair and when you ripped open the junk food's wrapper.

"Want some?" You asked him reaching out the food on your hand, he couldn't help but look at you and the food, and back at you again.

You thought he'd say no but he didn't utter a word and reached his arm to get some of your junk food. You took that as a yes.

"Capo– no, Y/n," He called out, His deep voice resonates with the noisy ocean sound. You're only looking at him, particularly on his luscious lavender lips, making him know you were listening.

"I'm sorry for what I've said earlier." He said, sincerity all over his voice, His Yellow-purple ombre eyes tells he was being truthful.

You smiled, "Don't worry, Abbacchio, You're not in deep trouble, no need for that." And chuckled.

"No, I don't care about that. I'm truly sorry for offending you." Abbacchio insisted. His hair was neat and intact despite of the wind blowing harshly. Your hair was quite free flying but you tried your best from keeping it in place,

"I wasn't. I understand and I forgive–" "Let me make it up to you and get you lunch when we land."

FREE FOOD. Was your first thought. You also wanted to get real lunch and not just some junk food, It was quite late for lunch but you still couldn't skip it. "Oh, no need for that, but sure. If it's lunch." You chuckled making Abbacchio sigh in relief quietly because you agreed.

He was surprisingly bothered for not apologizing to you earlier, now that he did, a sense of relief washed over him.

You leaned on the comfortable chair, resting your legs on the leg rest as you sigh. You were quite tired but you know the end of the day is still far.

Something was telling you that you're not staying for a few days only in the team, something was telling you that you'd be stuck here for a long time and something bad is about to happen. It was unsettling and a disturbing feeling. You wanted to get away from it. But you didn't know how, You discarded those feelings by sighing unevenly.

You felt better. You swear to yourself that you'd protect everyone in the team, they are going to be the one who'll help you uncover the Boss's identity soon.

You didn't want to keep another secret from them but the betrayal You, Bruno and Giorno are planning is risky, too risky that you couldn't even tell your own teammates. But you swear they'll know sooner.

A lot of possibilities of what will happen entered your mind, playing each scenes like a built in movie player in your head,

You would understand if they'd back off, it wasn't your place to order them to risk their life for your own plan, but you could only hope they'd help you. It's weird to say they were like family to you, a family you never had. You find happiness in your short time of spending time with them, you find peace and satisfaction specially knowing that they can protect themselves.

You and the insanely attractive man with long light hair were just relaxing to the sound of the ocean below and the birds above. It was quite windy, the front of your hair keeps tickling your face,

You tucked the loose strand once again behind your ear. You were satisfied and relaxed your entire body on the chair and your arms both on the armrest.

During missions, times like these are incredibly rare or doesn't happen at all, you couldn't relax when you're in a job for obvious reasons, you work alone most of the time, it made you realized that being in a team, in Bruno's team was very enjoyable despite the mission.

Not working alone isn't that bad at all.

Abbacchio and you heard audible footsteps but think nothing of it.

"Y/n," A familiar handsome voice called out as you looked behind you. You realized he just got out of the bedroom in the boat.

"Bu-Bruno." You acknowledge.

Abbacchio didn't fail to notice it. You calling the leader by his given first name made his brows furrowed. Since when does she calls him that, Abbacchio thought. And how long do they know each other? they seem really close. Y/n did mention earlier they met before Bucciarati's a part in the gang and Y/n was only new to being a capo that time. Abbacchio realized you've known each other for years. You two were like old friends. You also did mention that your identity was unknown to the gang and Bruno was the only low ranking member that knew until you told them. Abbacchio thought Bruno was sort of special to you or maybe he just got lucky.

"Would you like to join me on a lu–." Bruno looked over to your left seeing Abbacchio glancing at him as acknowledgement for his leader's presence.

"-lunch later?" Bruno finished his line. You looked over at Abbacchio's face, his eyes were closed leaning his back on the chair, but you couldn't miss that little sly smirk on his lips.

Panic starts show subtly in your expression. You hoped Abbacchio would say you were going to have lunch with him, you could say he can join you both, but you wouldn't be sure if Abbacchio's fine with that since it was kind of an apology date- I mean lunch.

"I a-actually have somewhere else to go to later." You settled with that answer, immediately regretting it. At least you weren't lying, right? Kind of.

Glancing at Abbacchio, you can see him obviously and visibly smirking from your angle. You ignored it, he seems to be satisfied with you response to Bruno. He felt like he won.

"Oh, I see. I understand. Maybe next time."

"Next time, I'd love that." Abbacchio felt like he won, temporarily.
