I'm here . Hope you didn't change your mind last minute .

Smiling , I slide back my phone into my pocket . I choose not to reply Chris just to surprise him . It makes me feel bad when I saw Louis's banner with his bandmate at the bus that just pass me but it was nothing . Just some friend having a lunch together .

I push the door open and it make a ring sound to alert the workers . Chris head immediately snapped towards me before a smile creep into his face . As I approach the table he is sitting , he stand up .

" You came . " he sounded like in disbelieve that I was here .

" And you looked different . " I blushed . It was not wrong I guess if I try to at least looked pretty for him .

" Why , thank you . " I reply without shuttering .

" Have a seat please . " he nod towards the chair infront of him . We both take our spot facing each other .

" Ready to order ? " I am kinda full since I have my breakfast a few hours before I came here but I can't let Chris down so I nod .

" Here please . " he waved his hand at the waiter , making a bird chirps sound . To be honest I don't know what do they call it but for me it does sound like a bird so yeah .

" What can I get you ? " instead a waiter , a waitress came to get our order .

" I will have some chicken burger with a fries . You ? " his attention is darted towards me .

" Just some fries and a Pepsi for me please . " Chris frowned at my order but I just shrugged it off .

" I am going to ask about your choice but it's not my place to be so nosy . How's your life of becoming the famous's boyband wife ? " I have this answer repeated on my mind so I just smile , not hesitate for one moment .

" Well , to be honest I haven't face the real life drama yet . Louis did protect me from getting mob by the paps or the fans . " he nodded , happy with my answer .

" He seems sweet . Different from what I have heard . " okay , I wasn't expecting that .

" What do you mean ? " I raised my eyebrow at Chris . My heart has uneasy feelings about this .

" Nothing much . Just something I found out when I googled about .. uh I mean , I heard from the news . " he blurt out , just like that before trying to cover it up .

" You googled Louis ? " I asked blankly . He open his mouth to say something but nothing came out .

" Here is your order . Anything just call me up . " the waitress came and put our drinks and foods before walking away quickly . I'm guessing she has sense some tense situation between us and doesn't want to get involved with it .

" Did you googled about Louis ? Why ? " I repeat my question again , wanting some answer . He can't leave me hanging .

" It was nothing . "

" It is something Chris . Tell me now . " I demanded harshly , not caring if I hurt his feelings anymore .

" I was curious okay . He has nothing to do with you before and suddenly out of nowhere you are getting married with him ? I have heard something about his violent act and I was worried about you . " I should flattered with his concern but I was angry . He has no right to judge Louis .

" My personal life is my privacy . If I choose to marry him then so be it . " he took a deep breath , messing with his hair in a frustration way .

" I respect that . I really do . But you might want to think about it first . From what I learnt , he lost his temper easily and I don't want you to get involved in something that you can't just get away with . I care about you El , I really do . " I find it hard to believe . It was like we are talking about the different Louis .

" Chris , I know what I'm doing . " he shake his head , disagree with me .

" Have you ever ask him why he broke up with his ex ? " Chris refused to give up . He really want to change my mind .

" Harry told me that his ex couldn't bare the distances and time of him being away . " I reply feeling unsure .

" But did you ever ask Louis himself why ? " he insisted , not buying with my reply .

" I don't think why it's matter . "

" It does matter El . " I had enough of this . If he has the problem with Louis before , then he shouldn't make me hate him .

" You know what ? I came here because I thought you wanna to see me but instead you keep going and going on about Louis's ex and behavior probably trying to turn my back against him . If you wanna keep telling me what to do , I think it's better if I just leave . " Chris grabbed my wrist , making me stop from leaving .

" He hit her El . " I stare at Chris , looking puzzled . My mind is going numb , trying to process this new information . I want to say something back , I really do but I got my tongue tied .

" It started since 2013 until Eleanor had enough . She stayed because she think he would change . She stayed because she think he is just going through some rough time but it never stop . He keep buying her things to make her shut up but the hitting didn't stop . " he explained , making my jaw drop .

" No . It can't be . " I reply in disbelieve . I totally lost respect if a man ever hit a girl and I couldn't believe Louis ever lay a hand on a girl .

'' How did you know all this ? Don't make up any story . " I accused him , refusing to believe his words .

" I meet Eleanor yesterday . She is coming to see you but you resigned . She looked worried and insist to see you . She wants you to cancel this marriage for your sake . " I stand up from my seat , don't even touch my food and drink .

" Harry is like a brother to me and I know he won't let Louis came near me , let alone support our marriage if he is that dangerous . Sorry but not sorry , I choose to believe my childhood friend instead of you who I know for less than a year . " I said with full confident when I'm trying to hide my inner battle .

Harry loves me right ? He won't do this if this will cause any harm for me . Believe I have choose a right decision , I leave Chris behind . Something that I couldn't do before .
