Twenty Seven

Chloe knew that she had been through. Chloe knew how hard that things were. How she was trying to move forward.

Chloe knew how part of her blamed herself for Graham and his attack. What he had been through. Chloe felt like if she never met him that night, he would never of been attacked.

Chloe knew that she needed to try and focus on Esmè. How Graham would pull through. Chloe knew it wasn't easy. How they hadn't planned for this. But Chloe knew that Esmè had to come first. No matter what she did.

Chloe looked to see the door open as Kim walked in. Kim smiled as she looked to the two of them. "Hey are you okay?" Kim asked. 

Chloe smiled. "I'm okay. It's hard. But I'm getting there. I went to see him in the hospital. I just stood there looking at him hooked up. And it scared me. Especially as we know it could of been me if I didn't leave earlier," Chloe said.

Kim smiled. "I know. But it will be okay. Graham will get through this. And you will find a way to get past all of this drama," Kim said as Chloe looked to her and smiled.

Chloe only hoped that she was right. Especially as she knew how scared that she was over it all.

Chloe walked into the kitchen. She smiled as she saw Scarlett who was on the phone. Chloe looked to her and frowned as she hung up. "Are you okay? Trouble with Cain?" Chloe asked.

Scarlett frowned. "Mum hasn't told you? They arrested him for the attack on Graham. It wasn't him Chloe. I know it." Scarlett said.

Chloe looked to her and frowned. "How can you be so sure?" She asked.

Scarlett sighed. "Because I'm sure that's the night the baby was conceived. We were together all through the night. I'm telling you Chloe. Someone is setting him up. I know Cain wasn't Graham's biggest fan. Neither was I. A lot of people hated Graham for how he has been but I know Cain wouldn't do this. Someone has done this. And they have set Cain up to look guilty" Scarlett said

Chloe looked to her sister and smiled. Chloe didn't think it was Cain. But she knew it had to be someone who knew them to set Cain up.

Chloe knew that it was all a big mess. And she couldn't help but worry about who had actually attacked Graham.

Chloe got to the hospital and sighed as she walked into Graham's room. She sat next to his bedside and looked to him and sighed.

Chloe placed a hand on top of his and smiled. "I don't know who did this to you. But I promise you that they will pay. We will make sure that they pay. And everything is going to be okay," Chloe said.

Chloe knew how scared that she was that Graham wasn't going to make it. And she knew just how terrified over it that she really was.
