Will you Stay?

Chapter 46

// Anna’s Pov \\

I woke up in a hurry figuring out it was Monday. I stood at the edge of the bed looking at a tired but awake Niall “Common Niall aren’t you coming?” I ask shrugging on my leather jacket over my dress from last night. He shook his head “Nahh, Coach wants us on the field at 12?”

I nod, he seems a bit distant since he woke up but I decided to brush it off “So then I’ll see you tonight for study?” I ask again.

He shook his head “I’m going to stay with the boys tonight, they have been complaining about me not being around” he smirked.

I nodded again, unsure if I should give him a kiss before I leave “Are you going to kiss me or….” He answered for me. I walked around the bed and gave him a quick peck, turning quickly to walk out the door “See you tomorrow” I say, shutting the door and walking out of the frat house.

I walked in my heels to my dorm quickly, not wanting to see anyone I know.

I found it weird how Niall reacted, usual he would beg me to stay or offer to take me home but this morning he just let me go without a second thought. I walked up the aisle to my dorm room and opened the door, seeing to girls in pj’s bickering.

I shut the door and got there attention. Audrey’s eyes widened “OMG how was it” She asked, coming over and giving me a hug. I smiled and was about to speak but Eve took my spot.

“Oh god what happened, what’s wrong?” she asked. My eyes widened how did she know something was wrong?

“You faked a smile honey, now tell me” she said pulling me over to her bed sitting beside me as Audrey sat on the opposite side. “Spill”

I took a moment to choose my word carefully “Has your guys ever reassured you that your good enough for them and you believe it until they start being a bit distant” I explain trying to use them as examples.

Eve nodded “Yeah the first part, but Liam’s never been distant with me”

I nodded “Well Niall was Fine last night until a little…incident… and has been distant since then. I mean when I spend mornings with him he begs me to stay, but this morning he just let me go”

“What incident?” Audrey asked.

“Umm..Well this waiter last night was flirting with me and then when we left he slapped my bum which made Niall blow up and punch the guy out” I explain, shuttering slightly.

I felt Audrey giggle “Honey you have nothing to worry about. It’s a guy thing” she smiled. A little weight was lifted off my shoulders but I wanted to know what kind of ‘Guy thing’.

“They do what we do. They spend a little less time with you so you see what it’s like without  them and then they come back. It’s like a ‘Never know what you had till it’s gone’ sort of thing. Should end soon” she explained.

I felt a bit better but I wanted to know what soon was “How soon”

“Honey that’s the thing you don’t know. But don’t give in act like you miss him but its not affecting you as much and he will be running back” She laughed.

I smiled at my too friends ‘I was worrying for nothing’

“Now go and have a shower, we have class”

I got up from the bed mumbling a ‘Thanks guys’ before walking into the bathroom, felling relieved.

// Eve’s Pov \\

I watched as Anna jumped in the bathroom and shut the door. My eyes trained back on Audrey who had guilt in her eyes.

“Why did you tell her that?” I whisper/yelled. “I didn’t want to see her hurt. I mean what if he’s cheating on her?! Do you want her to go back to the depressed, in pain Anna that we used to know?”

I shook my head “I just don’t get it , Niall is or was a player and he seemed to change since he started to hang out with Anna, he told Liam how much he liked her and of course let it slip to me. So I don’t get it. Maybe your right about what you told Anna?” I suggest.

Audrey shrugs her shoulder “But what if he is seeing another girl”

“I don’t know. But that boy better think wisely”
