I swallowed thickly as Niall gently dropped me to my feet, keeping his hand on my back. "Niall!" Julie screamed, running up to him and giving him a hug. I watched as Niall physically tensed up and instead of hugging her back and pushed her away from him "What are you doing here?" he asked, easily as shocked as I was.
"Well" Britney started, flicking her undoubtedly fake hair over her shoulder "You know how the girls and I are friends Niall and they feel really bad not saying happy birthday to you so I told them to come down"
"It's true! I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't tell my favourite guy friend " Tiffany smiled prancing over to Niall and spreading her arms around him.
My eyes met with Zayn's as he was giving me an apologetic look, but I shrugged it off, staying silent because something didn't quite add up.
"Ohh" Alexia cheered "How Nice it is to have you all together" she grinned at everyone but me. I felt Nialls hand rub small circles where it was firmly placed on my back, making me feel better about the situation. "I ordered the cooks to make breakfast so sit around the table kids" Alexia finished, guiding us towards the dining room.
I watched from the corner of my eye as Niall and Zayn recited a handshake as a greeting and Zayn mouthed 'Happy Birthday' to Niall giving each other small smirks as we walked into the dining room.
I sat in the same spot where I previously sat the first time I was in here with Niall by my side, the only difference was that Zayn was at the head next to me and Britney, Tiffany and Julie sat themselves right in front of us.
Alexia came in shortly, with chefs holding trays of food behind her. I watched as the delirious breakfast foods were placed in front of us, but my mouth watered most for the individual stacks of pancakes on a giant silver platter.
I glanced in front of me to see the Britney, Tiffany and Juile choosing fruit; a much heathier breakfast option. Before I could politely ask Zayn to pass me the fruit, my plate was already in Nialls hands, stacking a pile of pancakes on it, adding strawberries and syrup.
He placed it in front of me and I smiled at him pecking his cheek as a silent thank you. I saw Aunt Alexia's eyes roll, but I ignored it, thankful I had a great boyfriend.
I ate in irritation, listening to all three girls and Aunt Alexia, talking about god knows what. The only thing that was keeping me from slapping them in the face was Nialls hand that was pressed firm on my thigh and an amused smirk plastered on Niall, Zayn's and my face as we gave each other stares and annoyed eye roles like communication through the whole meal.
Once I finished my breakfast I cleared my throat loud enough for everyone to look up at me "So why haven't you done it yet?" I asked, staring at all three girls.
They looked confused, when Britney spoke "Done what?"
"Well considering it would have been so sad if the girls didn't say Happy Birthday to Niall in person, I'm just wondering why they haven't done it yet, since his birthday is today" I watched each of their faces drop and their chewing stopped. This made my uneasy feeling of why they were actually here worse, but I was too busy enjoying this moment to think about it.
I heard the boys little snickers from behind their napkins as the girls obviously didn't have a standard answer to my question.
The door then opened and in came Murna, Georgia and Alison in their Pj's having little chatter. "What's going on here?" Murna asked sweetly. Before that question was answered. Georgia and Alison bolted to Niall, giving him continuous kisses and 'Happy Birthday's'
That's when Zayn, burst out in laughter, trying to keep his tears of joy in. The girls stopped and stared at him questionly "Did we miss something?" Georgia asked.
