Today was the day.
It was the day where Jelequi figured out what I would do to protect her. Hopefully she'll still be my friend.
I couldn't see her fast enough.
Without stalling anymore I left the castle.
When I reached her house, something was off.
Her window was open, but inside she was nowhere to be seen. Then I saw the note she left for me.
To Seraphina. If you did come to visit me, and help with the gang problem, I will be in the alley closest to my shop.
I growled angrily, wishing she waited for me, she could be hurt! Suddenly all I felt was desperation. I, no joke, needed to know she was okay, as if it would break me if she wasn't. This is why I didn't let myself care about anyone. I sped to the alley.
As I got there, I saw the gang, at least five men, threatening Jelequi.
Jelequi was on the ground, and it looked like one of them had kicked her since she was holding her side as if it hurt.
I flew down like an arrow. "Listen, bastards" I was so angry I wasn't even myself anymore.
"I warned you about hurting her, I told you to leave her alone, and now you have to learn there's consequences to actions" I said, shaking through my anger.
The one man who had the large scar over his face, from me attacking him last time, seemed scared, backing up.
He ran away, running back through the alley leaving his other gang members there.
"If you ever come back I won't spare your life"
I hissed. The other gang members didn't run, thinking I was joking around.
"Listen, you bastards, you think I'm joking? You ever bother her again. I. Will. kill. You. I'm giving you one chance because she asked me to spare you, but I have no problem ending you if you ever step out of line around her ever again." I threatened.
Two others ran, but two stayed, "We'll leave if we get the money we were promised!" One of them said. "I- I don't have the money... I a-already said I'm poor..." Jelequi mumbled to them... I walked toward them, my eyes blazing, "do you want your death long and painful? Or short?" "You won't kill us."
One of them teased. In one swift move I swiped my claw across his neck, in the fatal movement I learned when I was twenty.
I had killed before, it was necessary when you were the queen, but I had a feeling that this man would be haunting my nightmares along with all the other people I had to kill."
"I'm sorry Jelequi." I whispered.
With that movement, the man fell to the ground, blood spurting from his almost detached head. Jelequi seemed scared, staring between the man's dead body, and me.
"I'm sorry, Jelequi. Please don't hate me" I said, feeling so scared and vulnerable.
Jelequi slowly got up. She just ran towards me hugging me, crying into my shoulder.
By this point, the last gang member had run away. Tears brimmed in my eyes and I hugged Jelequi close.
"It's n-not the worst thing I've seen..." Jelequi mumbled. "Are you okay?" I asked gently. "I don't know at this point!" Jelequi burst out, "I just watched you kill someone, but for some reason I don't even care! I know I should be scared, or hate you but I'm just so glad to see you! I don't know what is going on in my life..."

Fantasy"So, what's your story?" I asked. "Story? I don't really have a story." Jelequi explained. "Sure, everyone does." I replied. "Tell me your story first. I don't know much about you yet." Jelequi said. "Okay." Seraphina is a young dragon queen. Jelequ...
