"Good morning," I said softly.

Jelequi sat up, looking at me.

Jelequi realized that she had fallen asleep on me, her cheeks going pink, "Sorry for falling asleep on you..."

I wanted to tell her that her comforting presence was the only thing between me and my nightmares but i didn't.

I'm to obvius about the fact that I'm in love with her already.

"I think I fell asleep on you first..." I said, blushing slightly as well. "Oh.. well, it's fine." Jelequi got up, "Are you able to stay a little longer today?"

"Yeah," I said, getting up as well. "That's good! Well, let's head down to the shop. Actually, do you want some breakfast?"

"Thanks but no thanks," I said. I looked out the window and realized how late it was. "I wonder why Amharic didn't come to wake you up today?" I said.

"Yeah, wonder why..? Let's go!" Jelequi took my hand, then beginning down towards the shop.

We headed into the shop, seeing Amharic behind the counter with Xentri.

I looked to Jelequi with a slight smile.

Jelequi smiled as well.

Amharic turned to both of them, "How was your sleep?"

"Good, surprisingly," I said. "Nice." Amharic said.

Jelequi looked at Amharic, "why didn't you go to wake me up?"

"You two just looked so peaceful." Amharic said, giggling under their breath. I looked at Amharic with a slightly amused and slightly suspicious look.

"What's with that look?" Amharic asked me. "Nothing." I said, my expression changing to fully amused.

 Amharic shrugged.

Xentri looked over to Jelequi, "So. Do you know where they could be?" Jelequi seemed confused, "what do you mean, Xentri?" "You know what I mean."

"what?" I said, blinking. "Did you not tell anyone else?" Xentri asked Jelequi. "You kind of threatened me to tell you, so no." Jelequi responded blankly.

"Is this about your cuts?" I said, and then I realized.

It was that STUPID gang. Did they DARE bother Jelequi again? I will hunt them down and they will. all. die. "Is this about the gang again?" I asked.

"If you want I can track them down Xentri."

"I've already tried to track them down. No luck." Xentri told me. "We will not be murdering anyone!" Jelequi said, "Both of you!" Xentri rolled her eyes.

I ignored her, saying to Xentri, "dragons have a really good sense of smell. If we searched together then we might find them..." I said.

"Maybe. That would probably work." Xentri said. This time, Amharic spoke up, "Let's stop talking about murdering people who have hurt Jelequi! How about we talk about something else!"

"aww, but Xentri and I are so good at being overprotective of Jelequi together" I said, but changed the subject.

"So, any customers today?"

"Not many yet!" Amharic replied, "But there are other interesting things happening soon!"

"Like what?" I said, taking Jelequi's hand.

"There is a casual party for teens in two days!" Amharic said, looking at Jelequi.

Jelequi looked off to the side, "You don't need to come if you don't want to, Seraphina."
