"Amharic! You can't kick me out again!" Jelequi complained. "I can." Amharic said, closing the door, leaving them both outside. I blushed again. "Why does Amharic do this..?" Jelequi muttered. I said, "because their them." "True." Jelequi said, "Do you want to go for a walk or something?" "Okay" I said, taking Jelequi's hand. "Where do you wnat to go?" "Maybe just to the market?" Jelequi asked. "Okay" I said with a sly smile spreading across my face. We began walking down the street, seeing people pass by. I took Jelequi's hand. Jelequi softly smiled at me who smiled back. We continued walking, soon getting to the market street. This street was much busier, since it was the main street for shopping. "Where do you want to go?" I asked. "Not sure-" Jelequi said, getting cut off as someone bumped into her, hitting Jelequi, and I to the ground. I twisted our bodies so I shielded Jelequi from the fall. "Seraphina, are you okay?" Jelequi asked me. "Fine" I brushed it off, saying "are you?" though i knew i would have a couple bruises. "Yeah.." Jelequi replied. "Watch where you are going." The person who bumped into them said. The person. Goldarn. "You little-" I took a breath, saying "you better watch out" Goldarn looked at us, seeing who he actually bumped into, "Oh, it's you, Angel." He said kindly to Jelequi, before turning to me, "And you." He glared at me and I inhaled his scent. I knew I might have to find him and kill him one day, might as well make it easier for myself. I glared right back, helping Jelequi up, and wrapping my arms around Jelequi's waist. Goldarn walked past us, whispering in my ear, "Can't attack me in a crowd, can you?" I whispered right back, "yeah, but now I have your scent. I can track you down to the ends of the earth." He quickly scurried off. "That was scary..." Jelequi mumbled. I glared in the direction of where he went, hating how much he scared Jelequi and hating how arrogant he was. "At least this time I can protect you," I said. "Since you've seen him when i'm not around." Jelequi smiled, "let's just walk around in the market." I nodded. We began around, looking through the windows of shops. "I should get you something," I said. "You don't need to!" Jelequi replied. "I know, I want to." I replied. "Oh, I just remembered!" Jelequi said, pulling out some money from her bag, "I still need to pay you back that $10." "No way, I'm getting you something," I said. "You don't pay friends back, it's their job to support you," I said. "And I said I would pay you back, so I will." Jelequi said, trying to give me $10, for the money that she 'has to' pay back. "As if I wasn't silently rolling my eyes when you said that" I objected. "Please, just take it. I feel bad not paying it back." "Feel bad not paying the queen of dragons who has lots of money to spare" I rolled my eyes. "Fine.." Jelequi said, putting the money away. I softly smiled at her. "Jelequi, just because you can manage on your own doesn't mean you cant let people help you" I said softly. "I know.. I just feel bad taking help, and not repaying." Jelequi said. "I'm your friend... you don't need to feel bad," I said gently. "I still do.." Jelequi mumbled, "Well, do you want to continue walking around?" Jelequi asked, clearly trying to change the subject. "Okay" I said. Jelequi smiled, then continued walking around the market. I hummed a draconic tune. We soon came upon a flower shop. From the window, there were some very pretty flowers. "Woah..." Jelequi said, staring at the flowers. my eyes widened and I pulled Jelequi inside the shop. "What are you doing?" Jelequi asked, as we entered the shop. "You're a plant elf, I'm getting a flower for you" I said. "You don't need to. I can get flowers for free in the forest." Jelequi said. "But these ones are prettier," I said. "I guess." Jelequi said. There were lots of flowers hanging from the ceiling, petals falling down. "Which one?" I asked. "I don't know.. They are all so pretty.." Jelequi said, looking around. "Want help picking a flower!" The shop owner jumped up in front of them. The shop owner looked to be a short boy, rainbow flowers in his fluffy brown hair. I looked to Jelequi. "Uh.. Alright?" Jelequi said. "What are you girls getting a flower for?" The boy asked. "For my friend here, because she's a plant elf." I replied, taking Jelequi's hand. "Alright, alright.." He said, looking around at the flowers, "Any type you want?" again I looked to Jelequi. "Not anything specific." Jelequi said. The boy nodded, looking at Jelequi. This shop owner walked around, grabbing a few flower pots. "Anything that catches your eyes?" I asked Jelequi. "Not really..." Jelequi said. The shop owner came back with three pots. They each had a different flower. One had a white lily, with golden specks on it. Another was a teal rose. And the last was a daisy with black petals. I looked at Jelequi. "Woah..." Jelequi said. "Any one you like most?" The shop owner asked. "The rose, and daisy are amazing..." Jelequi replied. I nodded. "Alright, let me find one more you might like the most." The shop keeper said, placing down the rose, and daisy, putting back the lily, and going to find another flower. "And we can always leave if you don't like anything," I said. "Alright." Jelequi said. The shop owner came back with another rose. This one was black, with teal at the tips. "I love it..." Jelequi mumbled. "Is that the one you will be buying today?" The shop owner asked. I smiled at Jelequi, saying, "sure" "Head over to the counter!" The boy said, carrying the flower over with him to the counter.
