The next morning, I woke up.

I opened my eyes, and was just about to get up when I noticed the sleeping Jelequi beside me.

The fluttering sensation was back.

I smiled softly and stayed where I was. I few minutes later Jelequi woke up. She didn't open her eyes yet, but just quietly yawned, shifting over slightly. "Good morning," I said gently.

Jelequi opened her eyes slightly, and looked over to me, "Did I roll onto the floor...?" "I guess so, but I think you landed on my wing because I had a dream I had something, or someone on my wing..."

 "Weird..." Jelequi mumbled.

She sat up, just sitting on the floor.

I morphed back into my human form.

Jelequi giggled, "Your hair is a little messy." "screw my stupid hair" I said, and then "... do i get a morning hug?" Jelequi leaned over, giving me a hug. I hugged her back, smiling as we let go.

Jelequi smiled at me.

Stop it you stupid fluttery heart idiot i thought to myself, when Jelequi hugged me. "Hey, this week I'm free unless that blasted backup team comes back." then I paused, "did i tell you we found a rebel camp?" I asked.

"You haven't mentioned anything about a rebel camp before." Jelequi mentioned.

"Oh, well, there was this rebel camp we finally found! And then I had to send a backup team to help the moon dragons."

"It's good that you were able to deal with it, or that you are dealing with it!" Jelequi kindly told me.

I feel patronized... "Yeah..." "Uh, well, do you want something for breakfast?" Jelequi offered. "I'm not too hungry, but yes please, thanks."

"Alright, I'll go get some for both of us!" Jelequi said, getting up.

"Okay, thank you, Jelequi!" I said. Jelequi smiled, headed out of her room.

A few minutes later, Jelequi came back up to her room, carrying two plates.

We both had two pieces of buttered bread, and a few apple slices.

"I know it's not much, but it's the best I could do with what I have in the house at the moment.." Jelequi told me, handing one plate to me.

"Thank you, Jelequi," I said, smiling. Jelequi smiled back, sitting down so she could eat.

We ate in comfortable silence for a couple of minutes.

Jelequi ate slightly slower than me, still smiling. "You're a slow eater," I remarked in a friendly way. "Yeah, I do eat slowly sometimes.." Jelequi responded. "Obviously that's not a bad thing, I'm just pointing that out." I said, hoping I didn't offend her.

"I know, it's fine." Jelequi said, smiling towards me. "I guess I have to go soon, but I can stay a little longer," I said. "Alright!" Jelequi said happily. "What's your favorite color?" I randomly asked. "I don't know. Probably red, pink or green." Jelequi responded.

"Cool. What about your favorite animal?"

"Animal.. I don't know very many animals... Maybe snakes? They are the only animals I commonly see, and I know the name of..."

"oh, okay..." I said "I realized I saved you from gangs several times and you're my only friend, yet I didn't know your favorite color."

"Well, I don't know your favourite colour."
