The next morning, I woke up and looked around in confusion, until I remembered the last night. I saw Jelequi in the room.

She was sprawled out on her bed, fast asleep and it was probably the most adorable thing i have ever seen.

I looked around for paper to write a note.

There looked to be a few pieces of paper on one of the hanging shelves. I turned human, and reached for it, looking for something to write with.

There was a small piece of charcoal next to the paper, that could be used to write with. I took it and wrote; I'll be right back, I'm getting another flower for you. She was still fast asleep.

I flew swiftly to the woods, looking for probably ten minutes for a suitable flower.

Eventually I found some sort of orchid looking flower and collected lightning to fuse it with.

I got back and squeezed into the window. Jelequi wasn't in the room.

Her room door was open slightly. I patiently waited, assuming Jelequi would come back. I heard Jelequi's voice from what sounded like through the door, "Mom, I told you to let me prepare breakfast. Just rest."

I didn't want to overhear, but I just waited and tried not to listen.

I hated eavesdropping. I heard Jelequi start to walk up the stairs a few minutes later Jelequi entered the room, holding a plate with some bread with butter.

"Oh, Seraphina! You're back. I was just getting breakfast for my parents, and myself. If you want I could get you something to eat as well."

"No need" I replied, "Today all the dragon leaders are meeting up and I really have to go, but I got you another flower," I said, holding out the flower.

I really didn't want to leave.

Jelequi smiled, placing down the plate, taking the flower. "Thank you so much!" Jelequi said. "Of course, I still have your flower, and it's all magic-y and doesn't wilt,"

I said, smiling. "Plant magic sometimes makes flowers last way longer!" Jelequi explained. "Oh, that's really cool."

"Mhm. Well.. if you have to meet with the dragon leaders, you shouldn't be late..."

"Yeah, I suppose so," I said regretfully, because I really didn't want to leave

"Well, bye." I said, hugging Jelequi. Jelequi hugged me back.

"Bye.. can you visit me again another time?" Jelequi asked, "Of course, who else is going to keep me sane?" I said, smiling sadly, Jelequi smiled sadly, giggling slightly at my remark.

"Bye" I repeated, squeezing out the window and flew back to the volcano.

The first thing I saw when I got there was the king of the time dragon's.

I flew up to him easily, his guards grumbling as I ducked gracefully around their impalement attempts.

I had a bit of an ongoing joke of scaring the time dragon king's guards and then avoiding their attacks. It's fun. "Hello your majesty." I said.

"Hello Seraphina," he chuckled. He's one of the oldest known dragons, at about three thousand years old. Most dragons got to about two thousand to two thousand five hundred. He seems to like me, for some unfathomable reason. Maybe the same reason Jelequi likes me... I can't have that many good qualities.

Up until i met Jelequi i was a surly grump.

Jelequi... green and gold... I shook myself trying to clear my head for the misery to come.
