I woke up in the morning, Jelequi still in my arms. I smiled, resting my head on Jelequi's. Jelequi snuggled up to me. I blushed. "Morning..." Jelequi quietly mumbled. "Good morning," I said softly. Jelequi yawned softly, opening her eyes. I lifted my head to smile at Jelequi. Jelequi smiled sweetly. I yawned, stretching slightly. Jelequi leaned up, "Should we probably head down to the shop?" "Okay" I replied, letting go slightly. Jelequi stood up, putting her hand out for me. I took it and got up. Jelequi smiled, leading me out of her room, down the stairs, to the shop. I hummed happily. "Good morning." Xentri said. "Morning Xentri!" Jelequi said happily. "Morning," I said. "Are you feeling better today?" Jelequi asked Xentri. "Yep." Xentri responded. "What happened?" I asked. "Uhh... I had a bad headache." Xentri said. "A hangover?" I asked slyly. "Jelequi, is it normal for people to be able to read you so easily? This is the first time anyone can tell what I mean." Xentri said. "People can easily read me." Jelequi shrugged. "I just know about hangovers," I admitted, thinking of when my parents died, and the shameful amount of drugs i took. "I had alcohol for the first time two days ago." Xentri mentioned, "And I think I maybe got Amharic grounded forever..." "yeah, maybe you shouldn't give a person with an overprotective family alcohol!" Jelequi mentioned. I laughed, saying "that's when it's good to have no parents" "Have you had alcohol?" Xentri asked me. "I'm a depressed teenager, what do you think?" I said. "Oh, makes sense." Xentri said, "It's good it's not illegal for teens to have it, at least in this area." "I'm a queen, I think people will overlook me drinking even if it's not illegal," I giggled. Xentri nodded. "I wonder when Amharic will be-" Jelequi started as the door slammed open.

"I'm back!!!" Amharic yelled. "Amharic!" I said happily. "Heyo!" Amharic said happily, skipping over. "Everything cleared up?" Xentri asked. "The fight, no. The alcohol, yes." Amharic answered. I shook my head, rolling her eyes. "Did you and your brother not make up?" Jelequi asked. "Hell no. He is persistent, and will never apologize." Amharic replied. "Oof..." I said sympathetically. "It's fine!" Amharic smiled, "It's all good now!" "Okay," I replied. Amharic looked out the window, seeing someone through the window. "Uhh... Xentri.." Amharic mumbled. "Huh?" Xentri looked out the window, not seeing whatever Amharic was talking about. "What?" I asked. Amharic quickly ran behind the counter, seeming scared for some reason. "Is it your brother?" I asked. Amharic didn't say anything, as someone entered the door. This person was a female elf, with shoulder length gray-ish purple hair. I frowned questioningly at Jelequi. Jelequi shrugged. Xentri looked at this woman, "Excuse me ms. What do you want?" Xentri asked. "You should be nicer to a customer." The woman said. "Is there anything we can help you with?" I quickly interjected. "I'm looking for a love potion." She said. "I don't normally sell those, but you can ask me to make some, if you pay me more." Jelequi said. "Well, I need that." She said. Did this woman like either amharic or one of his siblings? "Who's the lucky person?" I asked slyly. "My ex husband. I need to get back at the brat that made him divorce him." The lady said. By this point, Xentri looked pissed. I looked at Xentri. "What is the name of your ex husband?" Jelequi asked, trying to be friendly. "Tathdel? Why does it matter?" The lady asked rudely. "She's just trying to be friendly," I snapped, feeling something off. "Get out." Xentri said coldly to the woman. "Excuse me!?" The woman asked. "Xentri," I hissed. "What? I'm not letting this woman do this." Xentri said, annoyed. "Just warn whoever" I whispered. "Why are you even trying to kick me out?" The woman asked. "Stay away from the Crystalstar." Xentri warmed the woman. "How do you know..." The lady mumbled. I took Jelequi's hand. Jelequi held my hand tightly. "Amharic, just get out here, we'll protect you." Xentri said, the woman's eyes widening. "No!" Amharic yelled. I said "come on, you know we will" I agreed. Amharic stood up, running over behind Xentri. "Amharic, it's been awhile." The lady said. "Stay away, you witch..." Amharic mumbled. I walked over as well, shielding Amharic. "Look, why are you protecting Amharic so much?" The lady asked. "I don't know who you are, but I know Amharic is scared of you," I replied. This elf rolled her eyes. "Amharic is just a baby!" The lady complained. "You think I am just being a baby?" Amharic asked, "You were the one who did all of that. It's your own fault Tathdel divorced you." "Needless to say, I don't think it would be a good idea to sell you a love potion," I finished for amharic. "I'm not going to sell it." Jelequi said. The lady rolled her eyes, before just leaving the shop. "Can someone explain?" I said helplessly. "Yes, could one of you two explain?" Jelequi said. "That lady is Amharic's oldest brother's ex wife, who abused Amharic." Xentri said. "It wasn't really abuse.." Amharic mumbled. "From what you have said, that is 100% abuse." Xentri said. "Well, good thing we didn't sell the potion" I said. "Mhm. I would have actually had to make a love potion, since that's not something I just have for people to normally buy." Jelequi mentioned. "And understandably," I said. "Yeah." Xentri said. I wrinkled my nose saying "love spells and potions are kind of cheating" "True." Amharic said. "If you love someone, don't force them to love you back." Xentri said. "As tempting as it may seem..." I said. I never would even think of giving Jelequi a love potion, but sometimes i just wished she liked me back.
