"I don't think you're safe here, Alexandria."
"Huh?" Naguguluhang saad ko.
"Why don't you stay with Isaac for this night? Dun ka muna sa bahay niya. I think you're more safe in there."she said.
"Hon-" papa was about to say something but mama suddenly raised her finger to silence him.
I said sternly. Umiling-iling si mama at lumapit sa akin. She caressed my cheeks and smiled slightly.
"We're going to be safe, anak. You're papa's men are guarding the house. And Isaac will stay with you, to make you safe."
"Ehem." He glanced at mama first before talking. "Your mom is right, anak. And besides, they don't know where Isaac lives now kaya imposibleng mahanap ka nila kapag nandoon ka."
Nagpalipat ang tingin ko sa kanilang dalawa. Dad is forcing a smile and at the same time glaring at Isaac everytime he looks at him. Napalingon naman ako kay Isaac at nakitang nakatingin siya kay papa habang blangko ang mukha like he doesn't even care kahit pinapatay na siya ni papa ng tingin.
"Sige na, anak. It's not like Isaac is a stranger to you." Ani mama. Her brows moved up and down while smiling.
"Ma.." I trailed off. Tinaas naman ni mama ang kamay niya to say that she's gonna stop. Bumuntong hininga ako bago muling nagsalita. "Siga na. But just for tonight." I awkwardly looked away.
"Of course, anak." My mom hugged me and kissed the top of my head before letting me go.
"Mr. Garcia." "Can I talk to you for a second?"
"Of course, Sir." I heard my mom sighed so I looked back at her.
"Your papa is acting like a strict father again." Mahina akong natawa at napa-iling
"Yeah, and it's weird.
"Let's go. Baka tapos na sila mag-usap." Aniya.
"Harold, why are you so formal? Just call him Isaac." Ani mama nang nakalapit kami sa kanila. "Right, Isaac?"
"Yes, Mrs. Gallardo." Ani Isaac.
"Oh, isa ka pa. Tita nalang itawag mo sa akin." Natatawang saad naman ni mama.
"And you want him to call me Tito?"
"Of course! Bakit? You want him to call you Lolo instead?"
