Mind blank, reciprocating no rational thoughts. He couldn't figure out anything that was going on around him. Just a bundle of thoughts that made no sense. Out of the ordinary. Non - existent.
Hand resting behind his head, the other on his stomach, his fingers lightly drumming a rhythm. The long stare that was placed on the ceiling above him took a stop when he turned away to rest on his side instead. Squeezing his eyes tightly shut he tried to get some sleep.
Ga-eun spoke to her mother and surprisingly she allowed Jeno to stay with them. Only until he finds his home. It's wasn't too difficult to convince her. She was sweet to understand his problematic situation.
"Maybe it's because your good looking Jeno!" the girl slapped his arm lightly before leaving the boy in the bedroom she said that is his for now.
Shaking his head he tried to empty his mind trying to not think of anything.
It's all a dream Jeno. Sleep peacefully and everything will be back to normal when you wake up.
. . . Everything

"Oh, you're awake!" The girl cheerfully smiled, setting the dishes on the table.
Jeno stood halfway on the staircase, all grumpy. Black circles staining underneath his eyes just like the day before. Just even worse. His hair was all messed up and a dead expression ridden on his features.
Why am I here?! - He cried internally, placing on a sullen depressed look.
Halting, his feet ceasing motion as he exhaled sadly, shoulders sagging down. Sharply following her movements, he observed as the girl took a seat down on the table gesturing him to come over with a simple hand movement.
Grazing his tongue over his teeth, Jeno aggressively dragged his feet over towards her. Ga-eun had placed a delicious looking meal that looked pleasingly appetising. Unlike a few seconds ago, he felt an inexplicable surge of happiness and warmth heighten through his chest just by the sight of the gorgeous looking food.
"Did you sleep well?" she spoke politely while grabbing a glass to fill up with water. She passed it over to the boy and began eating her food. However, she got no response which concerned her slightly thinking that he didn't have a peaceful night sleep.
She was wrong. When she turned to face him, Jeno was busy devouring the food as if he had been starving for weeks. Resting her cheek on her palm she kept her sight trained on him. He was downing all his plate's content until his sixth sense detected her stare. Mouth filled with food he lifted his head to find an amused looking girl.
"You're mum cooks good" he said with his mouth still filled up. Chuckling, she nodded. "She used to be a chef until she opened her own cake shop and now became a baker" swallowing hard he nodded approvingly of her mothers talent.
Turning back to her meal she grabbed her chopstick but before she could even take a proper bite Jeno interrupted her. "My knee is healing faster than I thought" placing on a proud smile she flicked her hair. "Of course it is. That herb is a charm I tell you. I've been using it since a child but I added a secret ingredient which makes injuries heal twice as fast"
"Since a child? I guess you were a troublemaker. Always getting hurt?" he leaned back on his chair making her scoff. "No" she defended herself. "What's the secret ingredient?" he furthered. "It's a secret for a reason. If I tell you it won't be good for my business"
Business? - he knitted his brows not understanding what she meant

The urge to breathe in some fresh air sent Jeno to step out of the house. Like yesterday he was about to sit on the bench but his attention drifted away towards Ga-eun who was grooming Roman.
Observing how she treated him from afar, the boy noticed how she handled him with care and love. The stallion stood still and high, head raised to the blue sky like he was royalty. A slight tug at his lips etched up making him scoff out a smile at her horse's egotistic attitude.
This made Ga-eun flicker her eyes over towards the sudden noise that distracted her while she was working. Peeking past the door of the stable she found Jeno standing under the grey clouds with his hands tucked in his trouser pockets.
Instantly ignoring his presence she went back to what she was doing as if he did not exist. Slowly Jeno's lips parted by the unforeseen attitude. However, when she stepped out of the stables she shut the doors locking it secure before making way to the boy. Lifting her head up, she stood in front of the boy with a questioning expression awaiting for Jeno to speak.
But after a few seconds, he did not even squeak a sound, making her guess that he had nothing to say. At the awkward moment that just occurred, she averted her gaze inhaling deeply before she sauntered past him. However, he eventually worded out his thoughts. Instantly, it made her stop between her steps and turn around astonished.
"Thank you"
