Still holding onto her possession, he examined over her features trying to comprehend and link the mystery puzzle. "Where is he?" it dumbfounded him that he never took into account how there wasn't a single picture of their whole family or them ever mentioning about Ga-eun's father.
"Why are you so curious?" she folded her arms speaking in hushed down manner like it was some type of secret that wasn't supposed to be revealed. Though she placed on a fierce composure he noticed her nervousness and anxiety. That's when he realised that it must be a ruled out topic that he shouldn't be questioning. It was none of his business anyway and he was just being nosy. However, before he could even think about changing the topic for her sake so that she doesn't feel uncomfortable speaking about it, Ga-eun took him by surprise be actually answering the question.
"I don't know" she breathed out in a despair. Letting her arms drop to her lap she did not even connect eye contact with Jeno. It was like she herself was completely unsure and in utter confusion about her fathers whereabouts.
Cautiously taking in her agitated state he made a thin line with his lips before letting out a gush of air. "If you don't want to tell me then you don't have to" but the girl just shook her head. "No it's fine." she smiled softly before exhaling heavily.
"He isn't with me now. He never was. He married another woman." Jeno felt his throat clog up unable to process any words. It felt like Deja-vu to the finest. "I have never seen him. Not even a photo" Ga-eun firmly pursed her lips together containing the bundle of different emotions surging through her at a rapid speed. "All I know is that he was forced into marriage."
Like a typhoon, Jeno was sure that the whole room was spinning around him though it was just his brain unable to take in the capacity of the unexplainable thoughts bombarding him like a tsunami.
Speechless he shut his eyes excruciatingly slow wanting to escape hating every moment

She may have thought too soon. Jeno asked to take her to a specific address. At first she was confused but then he explained how it was an address that the middle aged man gave him. She was hesitant at first because after visiting he would know exactly how to leave. This made her dwell on the fact that she is getting closer and closer to loosing the boy. However, she kept a smile across her face deceiving him that she is perfectly fine.
But in reality she was flooded with immense heart-ache
Twisting her head around she took another look over to Jeno to find him shaking a bit. Chuckling at his frightened persona, she slowed down on Roman so the mare could fasten up to the stallion. "Are you getting the hang of it?" she taunted towards him. Sluggishly averting his sight from upfront to the girl beside him he took a large gulp unable to even nod his head. Fena was only walking however riding the horse by himself was something he was not fond of. Especially because he was receiving no help. All he could hear was the thumping of his heartbeat that panicked inside.
