"Jeno look!" Not anticipating the sudden action of her throwing the piece of paper right into his face. Jeno scrunched up his features. Flinching back a little he screwed his eyes to get a better view of what she was holding.

However, it was no good with her constantly flapping it around enthusiastically. Hastily, Jeno latched onto her wrist pushing her hand away so that he could actually read it properly.

A poster?

Scanning the sheet he read the title : Missing Person

Almost instantly he placed on an dullened unimpressed expression when his eyes bored onto the picture of him with her address printed in black underneath. He began reading it mentally before snapping his head towards her part way clearly pissed off - If you know who this 20 year old male is please contact Im Ga-Eun. Addre-

"Are you kidding me?!" he growled out fuelled with rage along with a lace of disappointment. "What?" she pouted, not liking his reaction the slightest. It was far from what she had interpreted. Her mood took a drastic turn to a more upsetting side. "It's a stupid idea" Jeno grumbled out, massaging his forehead while shutting his eyes tight finding it unbelievable.

Is this why she took me out for a photo last week?

Jeno has been stuck in this place for god knows how long. He constantly woke up in the same bed, same surroundings, same people. It's been driving him insane and he is clueless, unsure as to what to do or who to tell. Why?

Because no matter how many times he explains, all he gets in response is that he needs help. Of course from none other than Ga-eun and her two minions - Haechan and Jaemin. Yes, Jeno has begun to call them her minions. Only because she's basically in charge of the clinic even though she denies it. But they aren't wrong about him needing help. Hhe agreed that he does. Sadly the help that he needs is far from what they are presuming.

Apart from that, it took Jeno several days to get convinced by Ga-eun that he isn't in a dream. He wouldn't believe her no matter how many times she persuaded him. Until she gave him a valid enough reason saying that if he really was in a dream then why would he feel pain.

That's when he understood that she was indeed correct. He felt pain when he injured his leg near the riverbank and when the guards pinned him down onto the floor. Lastly when she smacked the back of his head to prove to him that he wasn't in a dream.

Jeno wasn't pleased with the fact that she hit him but the girl gave an innocent smile finding his unamused expression well . . . amusing. Now Jeno was devastated not being able to figure out where the hell he was or how the hell he got there.

However, after carefully evaluating the situation he had concluded. . .

I'm in a book

Maybe he had transferred into a novel, specifically a fantasy one due to the strange creatures he had been spotting. It's confirmed that he is not in Seoul. Which further stressed him out.

Now and again he questioned if he was the main character or a side character.

Ga-eun is too sweet to not be the main

But the ridiculous thing is that Jeno just concluded that he is in a novel yet there was not much evidence. It wasn't like the drama extraordinary you or W. He found not a single clue to back up his absurd theory.

After realising that he is probably wrong, he went back into depression excluding that thought out his imaginary list.

"Jeno I've already put some of the posters up in our street" she informed him picking up another handful of the posters making her way out to hang up the rest.

"YOU WHAT?!!" he screamed, twisting the girl around, he grabbed hold of her shoulders. He examined her dusky brown eyes, wandering his orbs between them back and forth in process to finalise if she was messing with him or not. To his dismay she was dead serious.

Within a split second her hands became empty when cold air slipped into her naked palms. The posters had disappeared out of her grip and they were placed on a high shelf. Her shorter height was not going to aid her much when attempting to get them back. Clicking her tongue the girl zeroed her sight onto him with pure vexation.

"Jeno give it back" she ordered. Rolling his eyes he shook his head running his hand through his dark hair barely paying attention to her existence. "Give it back" she put her hand out waiting. "Jeno!"

"Gosh!" he rubbed his ear at the high pitched scream and glanced back down to find an angry little girl. Yes she was the same age as him but in his eyes she was so small and tiny due to the massive height difference. Standing just over his shoulder. Making her look cute. "Get it yourself if you want it" he folded his arms making her sigh in defeat.

Harshly pushing him to the side she tiptoed, stretching her best to reach the posters but her fingertips barely brushed a single sheet. At the sight of her struggling, his emotionless expression deformed into a wide smile that he couldn't contain inside of him. Before he could even realise he was snickering at how short she was compared to him.

Hearing his teasing, the girl rolled her eyes to the back of her head before twisting around to find him comfortably seated on a sofa. Hand resting on his cheek as his elbow was placed on the armchair. Though his lips were concealed in hopes to prevent another laugh, the glimmer in his eyes could not be hidden. Huffing out in anger aggressively she shot an icy glare towards the boy immensely offended by his ridiculing behaviour.

It has not been long since the two met but they quickly became close with one another. It was mostly her doing. She's so warm and comfortable to speak to so they clicked quite easily.

"AHH Jeno!!" an unexpected scream resonated across the room bouncing of the walls instantly catching his attention. Flickering his sight over to the girl he found her standing on a stool.

Ga-eun's breath hitched, her voice stuck at the back of her throat as her pupils trained on the tips of her fingers that gradually distanced away from the shelves that she was holding onto. A gust of air hitting against her back at high speed. She couldn't think of a single thought. Just the fact that . . .

She was falling

All control of balance slipped out her grasp. One of the wooden legs snapped and she was falling to her dismay
