Drained out, Jeno lethargically dragged his feet through the heavy front doors. Lazily taking his jacket off, the boy discarded it onto the sofa before dropping down beside it. No light entering his closed eyes, he tilted his head back on the sofa head rest covering his eyelids with his arm.
"You must be tired", someone coaxed out. Releasing the high pitched squeal from his lips, Jeno jumped to the side, startled by the sudden voice. Chest rising expeditiously, his eyebrow twitched, eyes zoning in on his older sister. He did not do anything to get back at her for scaring him like that. As much as he wanted to did not because of the 2 year old that sat on her lap.
"What are you even doing here?" he bored his eyes onto her, voice void of emotions. Clicking her tongue, Minji seethed some air offended by her youngest brother's unacceptable question. Not even looking at his sister, Jeno connected his pupils onto his niece. Reaching his hands over he picked her up from her mother before placing the little girl onto his lap. So-hye let out a small giggle as Jeno bounced his knees up and down.
"Can I not come back to my own home?" she monotoned, her voice slightly deeper. After So-hye was born she moved out and brought a home with her husband. So she barely comes over to visit them.
"No you can't!" turning her head back excruciatingly slow, her demonic eyes fell onto the culprit who directed the rude comment over to her. Like devil entered inside of her, Minji sprinted over grasping Mark's neck into a strong headlock. "I dare you to say that again Mark!"
Immediately Jeno covered the giggling 2 years old's eyes in hopes she doesn't pick up her mothers violent behaviour. "J-jeno save me"
Wordlessly blinking a few times, the younger boy disregarded his words. His crescent eye smile enhanced upwards at his older brother's devastated state. Unfortunate to Mark, Jeno kept on shaking his head no matter how many times he asked. He just neglected Mark's pleas and just enjoyed the scene.

Palms sweating, throat dried up. He could feels his nerves agitating. Nevertheless he still stood tall waiting for for him mother to open her bedroom door. It took a few seconds until he heard some movement from the other side.
When the door did open, he spotted her drowsy eyes staring back at him. Blinking a few times she let out a yawn. "Jeno?" she mumbled out raising a brow in a questioning manner. "Uh-should I come later?" he was ready to turn away seeing how his mother seemed to be sleeping. He didn't want to disturb her slumber.
However, after hearing his voice, Hei-ran seemed more than awake. Lifting off her foot that she placed most weight on she let her orbs wander between her sons. Though it wasn't clear, she swore she heard some concern through his words. Maybe towards her because he disturbed her but Hei-ran couldn't ignore the desperation he had in his eyes. Like he had something to tell her.
"Come in" she simply spoke out while leaving the door wide open. Following her lead he shut the door close which did not go unnoticed by his mother. She immediately caught on that it must be something to do with the others not knowing. Something that only those two know about.
