Lulling the little boy to sleep, Ga-eun hummed a beautiful lullaby to her 3 year old son. Stroking his hair out of his eyes the girl pulled the duvet closer to his neck to enwrap him in the warmth after noticing the small adorable snores leaving his lips.
Slowly lifting of the bed, she placed a chaste kiss on his forehead before glancing over to the door to find it being open. Peeking in Jeno smiled to his wife dearly noticing how she had already put their son into bed.
Opening the door wider, Jeno followed her figure as she tip toed out the room while letting Nal enter in to sleep next to the toddler. Shutting the door carefully to make no sound, Jeno looked down towards his love. "Your book signing event is tomorrow" smiling widely Ga-eun gave a short nod before whispering. "I know but I'm a little nervous"
Shaking his head, he caressed her cheek. "Don't be. It will go well" resting her palm on top of his she sent a grateful look for his encouraging words. "Also I have news" tilting her head she gave a questioning look.
With a excited gleam sparking from his dark orbs he leaned closer. "I got a call from mum and she said how Mark and Jisung are back"
"REALLY!" she screamed out stunned by his words. Seething some air, Jeno slapped his hand over her mouth while placing a finger over his to indicate the girl to keep her voice down. Pointing a finger to the closed door he reminded her how their son was fast asleep.
"Sorry" she whispered making him chuckle. Tucking in some strands behind her ear he carried on. "And two more" furrowing her brows Ga-eun examined his features unsure what he was on about. Deeply falling into abyss of thoughts she let out a hushed gasp when realising who he was on about.
"Haechan and Jaemin?" slowly he nodded. But reflexively he once again slammed his hand over her mouth sensing the excited scream about to leave her lips. Sending a small glare he opened the door to find their son stirring around but still asleep.
As soon as he closed the door he looked over to a over enthusiastic girl. "I haven't seen them since I left." humming in response he nodded before resting his forehead against hers with his eyes closed. "We'll see them tomorrow afternoon"

With a gleeful smile, Ga-eun handed over her book before waiting for the next person in line. A teenage girl around 15 years old walked over in a excited manner. "H-hi" she timidly waved to which Ga-eun responded with a welcoming smile.
Relaxing slightly she stepped closer towards her. "What's your name?" Ga-eun questioned. "Kim Da-hye" giving a slight nod Ga-eun wrote down a sweet message into the book while listening to the girl as she spoke. "I really really loved your book. It was so good, I read it twice and I can't wait until you publish more" sending a warm smile Ga-eun gave a thank full look before signing the book off.
However, when looked up she saw that the girl wanted to say more but held back for some strange reason. Leaning on the desk surface, Ga-eun rested her elbows down while tilting her head up from her seated position. "What is it?" Hesitantly, the younger girl pursed her lips.
"Hmm, I've been wanting to ask you a question" nodding Ga-eun gestured her to do so with a small hand movement. Taking a deep breathe, Da-hye built some courage before speaking out.
"You're book, Gateway" she began looking down at the book Ga-eun just signed off. "At the end you made it sound like it was a real story." biting her lip she leaned closer with curiosity swimming in her eyes. "Is it really true. The whole book and the portal. Is it real?"
At her words, Ga-eun couldn't help but send a white teethy grin. Nodding her head she gave a small hum. Picking up the book she glanced over, her hand stroking the title.
"This is my story. My fate that was opened by . . .
. . . The Gateway"

Not gonna lie, I was clueless on how I was gonna end it but I love this book.
I really enjoyed writing it soo much and had fun! I hope you guys also loved reading it
