Her words sounded like venom poisoning him, his blood ran cold, heart punctured by millions of icy thorns. Shattered and heartbroken.

Vigorously shaking his head, he took a step closer towards her involuntarily making the girl flinch back. "Ga-eun-" his wavering voice got cut of harshly by her cold words. "I guess this is goodbye"

Finding it unbelievable he tilted his head up to the drizzling raindrops finding a full blue moon shining down at them. Just at the sight he felt anger rising up him. Excruciatingly slow he shut his eyes tight. Slowly bringing his chin back down he opened his eyelids training his sight onto the girl. "You're joking right?!" it was the first time Ga-eun had ever seen Jeno raged. His voice fallen down many octaves, a deep hoarse tone radiating out.

She couldn't help but gulp in fear, scared to speak back to him. However, she knew that what she was doing was correct. Since day one, her goal was to help Jeno go back home. And now was the chance. Though it broke her heart she knew that there are people waiting for him back in Seoul. "T-this is the one chance for you to g-go back Jeno" she breathed out a shaky breath watching as he ran his hand through his black hair out of frustration.

He wasn't listening to her which worried her a lot. Concerned that he may be too late to enter into the portal and miss this chance. "Look I'm not telling you to leave because of the argument that we just went through. You need to understand that I'm saying this for your own good." she pleaded gazing up into his inferno orbs.

"I know we've become close and all but remember what you told me. Remember how you said you miss your mum, your family and your friends. All your loved ones. There probably waiting for you and worried about where you are. You can't leave them"

"But I don't want to leave you!" he screamed out narrowing their gap dangerously close. At the sight of his larger frame overshadowing hers, Ga-eun felt her heart pounding erratically by their close proximity. She wanted to move away but her feet were frozen on ground, numb and paralysed unable to move.

The ivory moonlight casting shadows on his face, putting more emphasis to his sharp features. Biting her bottom lip she averted her gaze away from his striking orbs to the ground. "But they're your family Jeno a-and I'm nothing to you compared to t-them" her words trembled out. Even though she mentally agreed with what she was saying, her heart was telling something else.

She didn't want him to leave. She never did after accepting her grown feelings for him. However, Jeno was reluctant to hear her out. Gently grabbed her shoulders he caught her attention making the girl unconsciously look up to his glassy orbs. "Ga-eun please. I love you"

Softly and gently speaking his affectionate words, she knew that he was telling the truth. The genuine gaze of love floating in his dark pupils. It hurt her more. Knowing that her feelings were reciprocating with his. Hurt her more that they share the same emotions with one another yet have no choice but to separate.
