"I met Yohan when we were 17. The poor boy chased me around everyday but I never gave him a piece of my time" she clicked her tongue while reminiscing about her teen years. "We fell in love and have always been together. But when I saw 26 his father refused to let us both get married. He made a business deal with Go Eunha's father." clasping her hands together she gritted her teeth just the thought of that lady.
"But Yohan said that he will leave his money and property to be with me. I was so happy to be showered with such affection and love by an amazing man but sometimes things just don't go the way you want them to"
"He married her" Jeno spoke out with a dejected tone. Slowly she nodded, exhaling hard. "He didn't have a say. He was married off for business purposes. She was the second daughter of a filthy rich family. Pretty lady but spoilt"
"Talk about it. Mum, Noona, Hyung and I never got along with her. She is so rude and bossy" he started out running his hand through his hair thinking about all the times she treated his family awfully. Since a younger age he hated her guts and so did his own family. Especially his mother. He never knew why but now he does. It was because his mothers best friend was Yohan's first love.
"After their marriage I found out I was pregnant with Yohans child - Ga-eun." mouth falling apart Jeno stared in shock. He was never actually told this before.
Mum must've hid it from us
"I never told him actually. It was your mother. The first person I told was Hei-ran and she blurted it out to Yohan because she said how he has the right to know. It wasn't that I wanted to hide it from him. I was just scared. Scared as to what Eunha would do." taking a deep breathe Jia pursed her lips.
"But as soon as Hei-ran told him he chose to take responsibility. He looked after me." Jeno stayed silent listening to everything she said. He could sense the sorrow through her voice building up as she carried on speaking. "Unfortunately when I was at 5 months, Eunha found out. She was jealous and furious because she was infertile. It angered her that I was carrying Yohans child. She demanded that I hand over Ga-eun as soon as she was born. She wanted to take my child and act like she was the mother!" she spat out in disgust just thinking about it.
Gasping quietly, Jeno felt bewildered by the news. Clenching his fist he felt anger arise just by the thought of someone taking their child away from their mother. It's just wrong. He knew how cruel Eunha was but never did he imagine her being this egocentric. How low she could go just to get what she wants. "What did you do?" he eagerly asked, his voice filled with hatred building up towards that woman.
"I refused obviously. I can never leave my child with a woman like her. But she was so reluctant to let Ga-eun go. You were already born by then Jeno. Ga-eun was merely 3 weeks old. She said how if she could not have Yohan's child then I can't either" Jia shut her eyes trying to refrain herself from exceeding her raging heart.
