Heavy atmosphere circulating around them, it sent Jeno's stomach to churn in trepidation. The razor-sharp beams that were aimed towards Jeno were not so comforting. Making a thin line with his lips he physically felt the trickle of sweat dripping down his temple to his chin.

Gulping down, Jeno peeked from the corner of his eyes to still find Jisung glaring at him beyond infuriated. Grimacing over his situations, Jeno eventually dropped his stiffened shoulders. "I'm sorry" he breathed out facing the younger boy completely.

Sitting across him, Jisung leaned back on his arms. Palms spread apart, supporting his upper body he crossed his legs resting on the mattress of his bed. He spoke no word, head tilted to one side he racked over the older boy in annoyance.

"I am really sorry Jisung" Jeno leaned closer with a pleading tone. The firm, earnest sincerity running through his words did make Jisung let out a sigh however his unsettling emotions that build up for the past year wouldn't just die down by a simple apology.

Sitting up straight, he faced down clasping his hands together. "Sorry ain't gonna cut it out. You literally left without a goodbye" he softly spoke out, the raw emotions of his pain coming through.

"But if I came back then I may not have been able to return" Jeno defended himself in hopes that Jisung would understand where he is coming from. Flickering over to the older boy he gave a sort nod. "I know but it still hurts. Especially because you left at such a crucial moment. On top of that we became quite close" he muttered the last part more to himself then towards Jeno.

Unfortunate to him, Jeno heard every word. A smile etched up his lips. Without a warning, Jeno tackled Jisung into a hug trapping him in his arms. A whimper left the boy as he thrashed around trying to get out of his grip but Jeno was reluctant to do so.

"Umm nice bromance?" a voice spoke out from behind, in a questioning tone. However, the slight ounce of teasing did not go undetected by the two. Throwing away from one another they cleared their throats to find Mark awkwardly standing. "You know Jeno isn't the type to hug like that." Mark pointed out while taking a seat.

Frowning, Jeno just ignored him however Jisung couldn't help but digest the Canadian boys words. It made him think that Jeno must be really serious with his apology, especially because he did something that he normally doesn't.

"Mark, my older brother," Jeno motioned over to the older boy. Jisung gave a small nod taking in his presence. But due to the two barely knowing one another, a strange tension built up in the air. Scratching his nape, Mark sent a stiff smile over to Jisung before passing over a towel he brought with him.

"Umm Jisung you're staying in my room. You can be comfortable here. But just don't touch the items on my desk" Mark said but noticed how the boy was already comfortably sat on his bed. Looking back over to him, he watched Jisung grab hold of the item Mark was giving. "It's new. You should go freshen up" giving a small nod out of gratitude, the younger boy immediately stood up walking into the bathroom.

As soon as the door was locked Mark spoke out his disturbing thoughts. "I can't believe they're alive." Barely listening, Jeno simply hummed deep in his own bundle of thoughts. Clicking his tongue, pocked the side of his cheek sharply with his tongue before mentally cursing Jeno.

"Who am I kidding? You already knew" he spoke out offended, still pissed off that Jeno kept it a secret. He was dumbfounded when Jia hugged Jeno. Puzzled that they both know one another. However, Mark was still recovering from the unconvincing news about them actually living in another world all these years.

It was hard to accept. Letting out a small sigh, Mark stretched his limbs. "Jeno leave my room already" he yawned before picking up a packet of crisps. "Where are you going?" Jeno blurted out.

"Minji's room." but that just confused Jeno further. After all Minji isn't living with them. Realising that his younger boy was clueless, Mark placed his hands on his torso turning around to face him. "That girl, the one with long wavy black hair, she's staying in Minji's room. Mum told me to give her this snack. Oh and that boys one is over there" he pointed over to the crisp packet laying on the bed where he was standing a moment ago.

Wavy black hair?  - Cocking a brow he racked his pupils over Mark up and down but then it clicked.

Ga-eun!

Before he could even take a step closer to the bedroom door, Jeno clutched onto Mark's wrist harshly pulling him back.

When the older boy gave him a questioning look, Jeno pulled away rubbing his nape. "I-uh, I- actually . . ." stumbling over his words, he shut his eyes tight, not even sure as to why he stopped Mark from going to her. Maybe it was because Jeno wanted to see her again.  It's been ages and he wants to speak to her.

But his nerves were getting the best of him. He dreaded over the thought of them not being the same again. Especially because of the last moment they shared with one another before they separated. The argument and his confession. Avoiding Mark's curious gaze, Jeno shut his eyes slowly.

Shrugging his shoulders Mark spoke out. "I want to do some research on their world. You know because I'm making a paranormal book and it's a really good opportunity and- what the-" before he could even finish he felt a empty sensation tingling on his finger tips. Facing down he found the crisp packet that he was supposed to give to the girl had disappeared. Jeno had already taken it and left the room.

"Umm where's Jeno hyung?" snapping his head to the side he found that Jisung had stepped out the bathroom with only his towel wrapped around his lower part. Noticing that Mark was staring with a blank expression, an embarrassed blush heated across his cheeks. Looking away Jisung scurried to the other side of the bedroom. "I -I just forget my clothes that's all" he spoke out in a flustered tone to which Mark scoffed.

"Dude we're both guys, what's so embarrassing?" but Jisung just pursed his lips slamming the bathroom door shut again. Staring at the door that separated the both boys, Mark rubbed his chin in deep thoughts.

"I can't just ask him about Narva I guess" he nodded to himself before sitting down on his bed waiting for the younger boy to finish his shower.
