I want to talk to you
Just like old times
Trying to remember the route he took the night before, Ga-eun eventually found the way downstairs. Jisung was already sitting down, eyeing a rectangular object in his hand in a peculiar sort of way.
Furrowing her brows, Ga-eun took a seat beside him. However, before she could grab the familiar looking item, he began banging it against the wooden surface of the table.
At the scene, Mark gasped, yanking it out his hand and petting it with such care. "Jisung you formed a crack on it" he yelled out complaining, examining his phone while sulking. In the distance a low chuckle rang through the air catching their attention.
Following his figure, Ga-eun watched as he sat down opposite her. "You did the same with my phone as well" he spoke out towards Ga-eun who gave a guilty smile remembering what he was talking about.
"What is it though?" Jisung questioned cluelessly, still unsure of what the item was. "It's like your own messenger hawks" Jeno simply responded before grabbing his chopsticks to begin eating his breakfast.
Scanning around Ga-eun tried to look for where her mother was, however Mark noticed her gaze lingering around the place. "They both chatted all night so they're asleep right now" glancing at the older boy she slowly nodded before taking a bite of her food.
Minding her own business Ga-eun enjoyed her meal but sadly she was not aware of the pair of eyes that were glued onto her like gum. Jeno couldn't help but stare at the girl, still finding it unbelievable that she was sitting in front of him. He was waiting for her image to disappear like mist swaying in the air. But she didn't. She was happy eating her food smiling at every bite she took.
As every passing second went by it settled on him how this was really not one of his dreams. Raising his hand up he pinched his cheek feeling his pain receptors to be triggered. Harshly he bit his tongue down to not let out a yelp due to the pain.
It's all real
He expected to be awake to disappointment, believing that what happened the night before was a short-lived moment where his brain was playing mind-games. Honestly speaking, he wasn't expecting to see her sitting on the table eating.
Holding back the ghost of a smile that was forcing to be let out he calmly spoke out. "Did you have a good sleep?" glancing up Jisung was about to answer, however he bored an irritated glare while sealing his lips tight. He noticed how Jeno was gazing at his sister.
Only her. It was obvious that he was directing that question to the girl. Lifting her head up she found Jeno's sight already trained on her. Flickering over to Jisung and Mark who were also glancing at the girl she felt a hue of red reach her cheeks. Slowly she gave a small nod towards Jeno.
