"Are you staying here forever?" he hesitantly asked. This question has been bugging him since the day he saw her but he chose not to ask, unable to find a correct time. But now he felt like it was alright to.
Unfortunately, the look in her eyes told him that she may not give the answer he hoped to hear. Cast down and agitating, she trapped her bottom lip between her teeth. Shrugging her shoulders she began to answer. "I don't know. Mum said it's my choice whether to stay here or not" nodding he looked up at the ceiling.
"What is it that you want then?"
What do I want to do? - she repeated again in her mind falling to the depth of her thoughts to get the answer her heart was speaking out. But she found nothing but an empty space. Clueless. "At this moment in time I have no idea. We'll see when the day comes." He desperately wanted to know her answer. He wanted to hold onto her tight and tell her to stay right beside him and not leave. He knows that he sounds egocentric but a part of him was willing to be.
"But I can't say the same for Jisung. I didn't mind coming here because this is where I am originally from. Jisung may not show it but he is having a hard time. He told Chenle and the others how we will come back." looking down at her fingers she let out a small sigh.
"He was reluctant to leave Narva and he said that this is nothing but a field trip for him. I wish I was clear as to what I wanted to do. I left the clinic all to Haechan and Jaemin. The poor boys cried their hearts out" she smiled remembering how they wouldn't let her go and squashed her into a bone crushing hug. "I miss those idiots" she chuckled, making Jeno nod in agreement. "Yeah me too"
"They miss you as well, you know. I actually told them the truth about where you are and they said how they will come and visit Korea once" scoffing he let out a small airy chuckle. "I guess I'd be getting a headache." smirking lightly she nodded resting her head on the frame of the bed. "I miss them though. . . And my horses" she spoke out the last part in a hushed manner.
Just by the sound of how her voice sounded torn up , Jeno's expression fell into a sorrowful one. He knows how much she loves them and seeing how pained she looked that she had to leave them also hurt him. Lifting his hand up he dropped it on top of her head lightly before patting her hair which caught her attention.
Glancing over to the boy she found him already staring at her. Drawn to one another not averting their sight, they just intensely gazed deep into each other's eyes not speaking a word. It was like their eyes were talking.
Suddenly, a loud thud of Ga-eun's bedroom door flung open resonated around the four walls forcefully making them both break their eye contact. It was Jisung. Huffing now and again, his chest raised up and down trying to regain his strength.
