A flush of immense pain burned against her cheek. Jaw dropping Eunha felt her head turning to the side at the harsh cause that spread across her pale complexion tainting it red. "How dare you slap me!" she bawled out in pure rage taking a step closer to Jia who did not back down the slightest.
At the sight of their mother arguing with the unfamiliar lady, both Jisung and Ga-eun had the biggest urge to step in however they did not when realising that Jia was not the one in trouble. "You attempted to kill me and my daughter yet here you are again trying to ruin my family. She is my daughter! You can never have her"
First time
It was their first time seeing their mother so aggravated. She was always calm and serene, never raising her voice at anyone. It bewildered them. It was all new. Like a peaceful ocean, she stays silent. But in a raging storm ferocious waves form, destroying anything in its path.
That's what she looked like right then. She kept silent all this time but at last Eunha triggered a nerve and was asking for it. After hearing her mothers words, both Ga-eun and Jisung understood who this lady was.
Gawking at her up and down, all the descriptions matched her attire. Snobby and rich. Eyebrow twitching Eunha screamed out in frustration twisting on her heels to walk out however she found herself facing the two.
Clenching her jaw, she racked her sight up Ga-eun setting her glowering orbs onto her face. Standing dangerously close to her Ga-eun did not avert her sharp stare. Dead in the eye she did not blink a single time.
Raising a brow, Eunha let out a stiff snicker. "Looks like the damage back then had scared you" she coldly spoke out before nudging past her and Yohan in a harsh manner. She did not forget to give a cruel look over to her husband before leaving them all alone with her heels clicking at each step.
Exhaling the breath that she happened to hold back, Ga-eun glanced over to her mother who immediately collapsed onto the floor as soon as Eunha was out of their sight. Lip quivering she could tell how tormented she looked.
As much as Ga-eun wanted to run over she couldn't help but remember what Eunha darkly said to her.
Looks like the damage back then had scared you

"What did she mean by that?" Jisung interrogated Ga-eun who seemed slightly bothered by her words. Taking a deep inhale she leisurely pointed over to the scar at her left eyebrow. "Mum once told me that I got this because of Eunha. I never knew how but all I knew was that she was the cause of it. Whenever I see it , it just - it . . " shutting her eyes she attempted to keep in all her painful emotions.
Upon hearing her words, Jeno strode over pulling her bangs to the side to get a better look. Ga-eun just watched him not moving a muscle as he ran the tip of his finger softly over it. Letting out a soft sigh he moved back. "Are you ok?" he quietly asked to which the girl shrugged her shoulders. "I didn't ever want to meet her," she honestly spoke out.
In agreement Jisung nodded and let out a small hum. "But forget that. I'm proud of mum. I was shocked that she stood up against her." glancing over to her younger brother Ga-eun fell into deep thought folding her arms.
He was right. Whenever her mother spoke out to Eunha she always felt traumatised by the horrible things she did back then. However, seeing how she stood up for her children against someone she always feared was astounding. But like Jisung mentioned, she was proud. It looked like her mother was really changing like she said she would.
And she never really realised who encouraged her but it happened after she met a specific someone. And that someone was no other than Jeno. Flickering her sight over to the boy, she found herself staring at his side profile.
If she hadn't noticed, her whole life really did change after meeting the boy. Not only did she get to meet her father which was her biggest dream, she also has noticed how happy her mother has been after returning to her real home.
Ga-eun was clueless as to what Jeno may have spoken to her mother in the past but she remembers her mentioning how Jeno was correct and that she was wrong. She remembers her saying how she won't stay quiet to Eunha anymore.
Without realising Ga-eun began falling in love with the boy over and over again

Like a teen going through puberty, Eunha trashed items around the house throwing glass vases and chairs around out of infuriating anger. Pulling at her hair she stormed over clasping her palm onto Yohan's arm. "I can't believe you just forgot about me as soon as you saw her," she cried out. "I only met her yesterday,"
"I DON'T CARE!"
"Me neither" he calmly responded, pulling away from her hold. "Yohan it's either me or her!" folding her arms she placed most of her weight to her left leg tapping it vigorously. Finding it all too amusing, he let out a humorous laugh.
Speechless by his strange behaviour, she examined him properly, unable to figure out what was going on.
"I think we've gone over this and the answer is obvious" stepping closer he wandered his gleaming dark orbs between her shaking ones. "Jia" he breathed out.
"Yohan!"
Letting out a frustrated sigh he pinched the bridge of his nose before walking away to grab ahold of something. "Now that you're actually here just sign these off and you can leave Eunha" he simply spoke out, chucking the divorce papers at her. "You can't do this to me"
"Eunha, stop protesting. It's not gonna work" trying to control her temper, her hands shook. Clenching her fist she bit her already cut lip letting metallic blood infiltrate her mouth. "Fine but let me warn you, you're going to regret this . . you're making a mistake"
"My biggest mistake was marrying you"
